White House blames 'underfunding of some police departments' for violent crime spike

White House press secretary Jen Psaki blamed the "underfunding" of some police forces for the spike in crime gripping America.

During the White House press briefing on Monday, Psaki was asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy on what the Biden administration believes is fueling the crime surge that has stunned Americans.

Psaki pointed to "gun violence" as a "huge reason" for the uptick in crime as well as the "underfunding of some police departments and their need for additional resources."

Someone needs to tell Psaki that "gun violence" is not the CAUSE of the spike, it IS the spike. But because a widely disproportionate number of perps are black, she has to blame the gun.

I liked the irony of this part:

She called guns the “huge” part and threw underfunding in so they could say they addressed it. We’ll see how soon we hear anything about it from the WH again. And yes, no mention of DAs that won’t prosecute criminals, even violent ones.
