Eric Clapton Claims People Vaccinated Against COVID-19 Are Under ‘Hypnosis’
New York Post ^ | January 24, 202 | Hannah Sparks

Eric Clapton’s career “had almost gone anyway” until his campaign against conventional medicine took off.

The 76-year-old musician went on the Real Music Observer YouTube channel to discuss how his life has changed since reluctantly taking AstraZeneca’s therapy in 2021. Clapton has since become outspoken about his anti-vaccination stance.

He claimed that he’d been duped into getting the COVID-19 jab by subliminal messaging in pharmaceutical advertising — and urged others not to fall for it. “Whatever the memo was, it hadn’t reached me,” he said, referring to the “mass formation hypnosis” conspiracy theory, which gained traction in 2021 as part of anti-vaccine propaganda. (In related circles, it’s also been called “mass formation psychosis.”)

You think that advertising is NOT intended to influence us on both the conscious and unconscious levels? You think political messaging is not intended to do the same? I think Clapton was using the word "hypnotized" in a colloquial sense, not a clinical or technical sense, the way a man might say he is "hypnotized " by a song or a woman's beauty.

The smelly author (I've seen her crap before) was trying to make him seem like a nutcase, as if he was claiming there is some component in the vaccine that hypnotizes people; her article itself is propaganda with subliminal messages.

I was strange, creative, precocious, imaginative and generally thought of of as the ‘weirdo’ of the otherwise stick-straight family.

My mom told me that gypsies stole her real daughter from the maternity ward and left me in her place, as a changeling.
[I still find that an oddly comforting possibility]

Personally, I just consider myself the peacock in the family henhouse.

The man took a second jab after having a very bad reaction to the first. That’s his poor judgment, not a result of any advertising.

Gotta. I have some real straight friends in the who cannot figure out their creative kids. The most strong willed ones do well. A few just know very well how to lie just to get by. That’s a bad combo

I have really creative permissive friends who’s straight kids bounce off the walls, anorexia, accident prone. Works both ways.

“The man took a second jab after having a very bad reaction to the first. That’s his poor judgment,”

I know of a really smart rather independent thinker who did the same. Knew him and his family my whole life.

Died of sudden rare autoimmune disorder. It is very difficult for me to explain with just a “poor judgment.”

I’ve always been right wing, law abiding, sober and conservative, even if I do harbor crazy ideas and see things in a way that “normal” people cannot.

“ . Eric Clapton is getting a bit looney in his later years. “

I don’t think so at all. Would you care to explain that without using emotional group think, emotional arguments and/or propaganda?

Most personally successful creative thinkers are, I could argue.

And with all of the vaccine MANDATES here and in Europe in order to travel or work or go into many businesses, the authorities don’t give much allowance for our personal judgment anyway.

The article was deliberately written to make him seem looney, and I’m disappointed that a few here are falling for it.

Right. It is very difficult for any family provider to run around without a vaccine.

I learned in my undergrad English studies to Wade through an argument made with emotional appeal. The Dominican nuns in grade school and my Irish New York family and friends set the basis.

It is amazing to me to watch my peers not see through this but I’ve been watching for years.

I see most watchable tv and movies at least to see what people are being fed and they’re buying it.

This article would put him in a wonderful light if he were spewing their propaganda

I saw the interview on video just now. He’s in his home which is beautiful, he looks well groomed and is lucid. He is logical.

I don’t care what Tge post says, I Wade through and look at the quotes. This man cannot play guitar as he used to. He wanted to comply so he could play in all venues. Why wouldn’t he have trusted authorities to not hurt him? But they did

The medical community will be hurt by this. Tge media etc. tgey may win out in the end

But they are attempting to make him look like a lion and, yes, many here are shilling.

"I got the jab because I hoped that the government would see that 70% of the adult population had gotten the jab and would cancel the lockdown and let us go mask free. Eric Clapton is getting a bit looney in his later years. I wonder if he is still allowed to drive a car? "

Your post is not just insanely stupid but lacks a modicum of common sense. It's similar to a qooky leftist pro-vaxx rant.

If you're unable to grasp the reality that Clapton is 100% correct and you and your messiah "doctor" fauci are 100% wrong, then you might just be a leftist.
