but Russia is expansionist, and Putin wants to add back lost territory.

So is China, but they are trying to expand their influence in a different way. Either way, we can't trust the rest of the world to be ethical or respect human rights and freedom. Unfortunately, we've lost sight of those fundamental principles of ethics, morality, spirituality, and the meaning of freedom.

In the end, the only thing that we can count on to prevent aggression from other nations against us is the power that we project. That's it. Biden's projected weakness is not without consequence.

The comparison to Cuba is dead on!

We were not looking to overthrough the Commie system there, just to get rid of the missiles!

A lot of people in the eastern half of the USA ‘speak’ liberal.

I do NOT want them influencing the rest of the country!

We tolerate Mexico letting an invading army overwhelm our southern border.

Maybe Canada should complain about THAT!

Wanted to share about an old friend bbn of mine, as shared with me -

I don’t do Facebook, but was able to see the following link my mom sent to me -

https://www.facebook.com/scott.sobie.16/posts/5231037853586696

Beyond my own, my family’s perilous need of Gods intervention, I was alerted to Another encouraging word, and tough and prayerful situation -

I remember Scott Sobie from back in the early 1990’s, when we were with BWM in Moscow, Russia

Again, just wanted to share, and ask for prayer for this beautiful family -

Probably request again later -

Is there a difference anymore? Hypersonic missiles are so fast and dual use that by the time they figured out what the warhead is…it would be too late.

We have no business in Ukraine. Except Hunter’s business. That’s not enough to go to war over.

Seruzawa, I love ya, but I have decided to throw this in from another thread.
____________________________

“Although I am aware Russia did shoot one of their own hsm’s down, it was all calculated in advance.

Let’s hypothesize a bit more -

Our territorial waters are now at 12nm from our coast, (UN passed in 1982, but which America did not commit to until Clinton).

We have repeatedly seen/monitored foreign naval assets right up to the 12nm line numerous times. At times they have come in much closer. In fact, until Gingrich and the RNC took back over in early 1994, both Russia and China had been given permission and contracts to refuel in San Francisco and Long Beach. But that is another story.

Just for kicks, let’s just say the Russian nuclear powered battleship “Peter the Great” (PG - which leads a hybrid battle group with between 5-7 nuclear submarines), is loitering within 100nm from Bermuda, or Cuba, with its “home away from home being a Russian Naval base at Venezuela.

Those subs (contrary to much circulated info), which belong to the PG group are not only nuclear powered, they do indeed have nuclear missiles.

Now let’s just say as a general rule, those subs generally remain within 600-700nm of PG, (and occasionally travel further).

What we are really saying here, the nuke subs are almost now regularly up against our 12nm boundary, and or visit and loiter for periods of time close to the 12nm boundary.

Medium range from one of these (NON-hypersonics), could and would take out NY, DC, Miami, Norfolk, Jacksonville, Philly, New Orleans, Houston, Atlanta, Richmond, etc, etc, in literally 2-3 few minutes.

And we aren’t even talking hsm’s, or unmanned Club-K one off container systems.

The threat or danger of the Cuban Missile Crisis was almost infinitely surpassed by 1993-1994 under Clinton.

Additionally, RUS has also rotated (off and on) between 4-24 TU-160 Blackjacks, armed with nukes, or nuke capable cruise missile rotators on board, since roughly 1993. Now they are being upgraded or replaced quickly (or maybe completed by now).

Our mass media and press has also known, but covered up everything for the manchurian Clinton/obama continuum deep state presidency -

The “Bay of Pigs”, and the assets available and on Cuban soil pails significantly, compared to what has been almost the norm since Clinton’s first term.

Most conservatives are just unaware or suffering from some level of dystopia.

“It’s as much their business as it would be if China started trying to pull Canada or mexico into a security arrangement and station weapons there.”

So to you China = NATO.

And Ukraine isn’t in NATO, none of the things you cite are happening.

“This is of ZERO concern to us, lets the Russians have it and maybe make the place better.”

If it’s of zero concern to you, you wouldn’t rake a side like this.

You speak with forked tongue.

“The Ukraine is most certainly, historically and strategically, of national interest to Russia and more their “business” than ours or NATO’s. Far more so than the Baltics.”

Russia starved 20 million Ukrainians to death. Quite the national interest.

Most Freepers won’t read this, but reposting this as well

Also taken from another thread but highly relevant -

“Many conservatives and conservative sites, are so justifiably angry with how far left, how corporatist, and truly fascist our own leftists have become across our government and society, they are embracing the Moscow/Beijing efforts and leaders who helped push the takeover by leftist in America, over the past generation. And it is very well documented.

I saw wise discussion earlier today, about how many conservatives across America today have become so dystopian, have lost, or never had enough historical context, and in many cases their news sites have become pro Putin mouthpieces.

In actual policy, the left in America have actually worked to strengthen Putin’s hand at every turn since Clinton, even while simultaneously “media acting/media masking” their own actual pro-Moscow/pro-Beijing positions, as the more recent Psyop was to serve the purpose of damaging and removing Trump, who Putin and Xi needed gone!

We also have other assets in the region which could and would stop Moscow, but Biden is literally not in control of any of it on our side of the pond.

Just like the Pentagon chiefs took control of our strategic and conventional forces from Trump, Biden is literally not calling the shots, as seen in March 2021, where the “back and forth” between Pelosi/Schumer and the Pentagon completely excluded our puppet Biden, (the on paper seated CIC), regarding troop withdrawal from DC, (at which point the Pentagon basically stated they would do it when they were ready).

This is a huge and terminal Constitutional problem for the US at multiple levels.

But again, damaging or wrecking the Constitution is a lifelong dream of the left, so it’s all good.

Also, there is simply no plan for Ukraine in NATO. In fact, NATO has turned Ukraine down several times, and has let Ukraine know this is not in their future.

What we do see are nations surrounding Ukraine scared to death.

Ironically, (as I recall from direct experience covering this in Moscow at the time), even while we knew Putin and three others were actually calling the shots behind the scenes - (as Yeltsin was also a puppet), Clinton literally got Ukraine to give up the nukes on its soil (given to Russia), and offered Moscow itself admittance to NATO, but Yeltsin (Putin) would not accept, as we would not accept Moscow’s counter proposal, establishing Russian leadership of NATO. (Yes, you read that right)

It has religiously remained a strategic hard line decision by NATO, not to allow Ukrainian admittance into NATO since 1991, even while Moscow was offered the opportunity, and Putin knows this.

Additionally, most US heavy and light armor, as well as munition stockpiles, which exist in the EU today, were moved into very large storage positions in Poland and Romania under Trump. Most of that took place between 2017-2019.

Some of it was wrestled into Poland and Romania under Bush 43’s EUCOM commanders, as a response to Putin sending in multiple brigades of heavy armor and Russian Strategic Rocket Forces back into Kaliningrad, and back into the Balkins, and along Hungary’s southern border.

AEGIS On Shore, under B43, was halted by Obama, even as Moscow was placing 4Gen nukes into Kaliningrad, and then took Ukraine’s most important energy and industrial East, so as to cripple Ukrainian economic importance to the US and EU.

Trump kicked *AEGIS On Shore into high gear, (which is truly a defensive system, designed to take down small highspeed targets, and covers from Ukraine to Germany, and Croatia/Italy to Finland actually), as we learned CIS Moscow had moved several hundred nuclear missiles into Kaliningrad (as well as very quietly moved several into the Balkins). As well, thousands of 3rd and 4th gen Russian nuclear artillery shells, and a number of Russian CBRN units were also moved permanently into Kaliningrad, as well as a few Russian/CIS CBRN training units sent back into the Serbian AOR back in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016-2017. Interestingly, 2010 was the year Russia and China quietly entered into the strongest economic and joint defense agreement since post WWII backing of Mao, which actually began when VI Lennon hand picked Mao in 1921, to lead the communist revolution across both China, (and hoped for all of Southeast Asia).

Bulgarian and Romanian troops who tried to stop weapons movement along riverine air routes, but have come under attack at various locations along shared borders, by Spetsnaz and Russian Air Force, shipment shipments headed back into the Bulkans. (Multiple instances and casualties)

Kremlin long term doctrinal architecture is to control not only “Slavic EU”, but to be able to determine policy and finance of the 650 million person EU market.

Control of Middle East energy and shipping routes is part of the same larger Moscow/CIS architecture and objective for the EU.

Russia/CIS cannot have a “western front” with a rogue, educated, and populated Ukraine, potentially flanking, or impeding LOC’s from behind them. As well, Ukraine still has significant food and energy sources, and junctions, and a significant population which Moscow will exploit moving forward, once re-subordinated to the 11 member CIS strategic battlespace.

Ukraine is not an end, it is a strategic stepping stone, and beginning.

Most Americans are oblivious and illiterate to just about everything, but this is intentional.

The large scale movement of US forces into Poland and Romania was very significant, and was truly a response to, and AFTER Moscow had been moving strategic and conventional forces into Kaliningrad and the Balkans.

The constant narrative of NATO pushing Putin into a box, and for Putin to defend the CIS is perfectly 180 degrees from what has already taken place, or of what NATO posture is, AS WELL AS NATO’s CURRENT OBVIOUS DISARRAY.

(And for whatever it’s worth, I really don’t like NATO).

In other words, Putin’s fake narrative is now popular mainstream, and causing further disarray in the West, chief of which within the US.

🇺🇸 More Light —

*Going further, Putin’s proactiveness is more related to Polish and Romanian objectives, which will see Romania with roughly 1.2+ million servicemembers soon (counting reserves, and probably by 2024), and Poland aiming to have 1.3 million servicemembers (including reserves) within a similar window.

Poland and Romania didn’t jump in on these plans until AFTER Merkel’s Marxist East German husband pushed the new Berlin/Moscow axis on different fronts, including NordStream’s 1 & 2.

When Moscow and Berlin jumped back together, Poland and Romania went into overdrive militarily.

And NS-2 didn’t get pushed forward until years after a continuum of strategically re-arming Kaliningrad and the Balkans.

NOW, (as of about two weeks ago), the UAE/SA/ISRAEL pipeline has been officially nixed by puppet Biden, adding even greater strength to Putin

“Putin has said, “Eastern Ukraine is Russia.” In many ways he is right.”

And therefore in many ways he is wrong, mwoukdnt you say?

“The people in the eastern half of Ukraine speak Russian, not Ukrainian. And they identify with Russia, not Ukraine.”

And you think this means or proves that Russia can attack and murder them? Odd logic.
