An Irishman was busted for refusing to wear a mask on a New York-bound Delta flight — and mooning flight attendants and fellow passengers, according to the feds.
Shane McInerney, 29, faces up to 20 years behind bars on charges of interfering with a flight crew’s duties and intentionally assaulting and intimidating a member of a flight crew during a Delta Air Lines flight from Dublin to John F. Kennedy Airport on Jan. 7, authorities said Friday.

IF I was on that jury, it would definitely be “Not Guilty.”
Twenty years for mooning seems awfully harsh to me, but then I also think the sentence of 41 months in prison for Trespassing (while carrying the American flag) was awfully harsh for the Viking hat guy too.
You mean buffalo hat.
What we need is “civil disobedience”.
Be civil, while refusing.
This dude doesn’t do us favors by getting naked too.
Does he deserve 20 years? No way.
But belligerence and animosity are only grasped at desperately by the evil opponents. Never give them any evidence our side is “bad”.
Twenty years?1 Meanwhile we have DAs around the country setting free murderers with almost no bail. Ridiculous.
Pressurized cabin. Pressurized people. It brings out the worst in just a few but everyone is affected. Most will acknowledge everyone has to cooperate for everyone’s good. Then there are those who think they’re entitled to special treatment. The more we cater to them the more we weaken everyone’s cooperation. Just look at what the Great Society did to the black family. I rest my case.
Murder someone? - Meh, probation for you.
It could have been worse.
The Flight Attendant could have mooned him back....................
I don’t see the point of putting yourself on a no fly list.
Unless we put a stop to this nonsense, there are many who will do just that by refusing to get vaccinated or sign up for a vaccine passport. (I am with them, by the way.)

Never be rude to an Irishman.
