Russia has notified Ireland of Russian naval exercises in international waters in the Irish Sea, Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney said on Monday, adding that they were unwelcome.

The Irish Sea is roughly between Liverpool and Dublin. It’s shocking that Russia would have a naval “exercise” in the UK’s backyard. It’s purely a show of force intimidation tactic since NATO countries are sending military assets into Russia’s backyard. Biden seems hell-bent on starting a war to take the pressure off his sinking administration.

The Russians sending in the only 3 warships that have enough coal left to fire their boilers and that haven’t caught fire in the last few years.
A clear external threat will usually unite a country behind the leader, no matter how incompetent, crooked, or unpopular he may be.
So I wouldn’t put it past Biden to push the world to a repeat of WWI. And anyway it’d be a lot shorter. :(
Not that Putin has clean hands here. He thinks he’ll never have a better opportunity; in nine months the American Congress might have a very different attitude.
And after all, Biden effectively gave him Germany already.
