A manhunt was underway in Harris County, Texas, early Sunday after a sheriff's deputy was shot dead during an apparent traffic stop in the southwest region of Houston, officials said.
The victim was identified as Cpl. Charles Galloway, 47, a 12-year veteran of the force.
"This has got to stop," Constable Ted Heap said during a news conference at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.

Terrible, but statements like “this he got to stop” are so dumb. Lawmen have always been killed in the line of duty. It’s tragic, but it’s reality. How’s it going to “stop” suddenly?

The only way to stop it is for society to have the stomach to do what needs to be done.
Relocating them to blue states would be sufficient.
And...what is that?
The BLM martyrs often make sudden struggling moves when the officer asks to see ID or asks them to put their hands on the outside of the car roof.
I recall one where the perp was starting to get out but then slammed the door outward and knocked the officer down then peeled rubber to get away.
Others suddenly shoot at the officer at close range . Only one second to make a decision if it looks like the driver is reaching for his gun. Maybe he was hungry and wanted some Skittles./S

Harris County has had a rash of cop killings lately. It will stop when we defeat DA Kim Ogg and the judges who conspire with her to release repeat violent offenders back onto the streets.
Maybe he meant the open order policy of Biden that needs to stop.

Shut your border with Mehico wether Dr Demento likes it or not and actively search out and arrest illegals in your state. That’ll dive the numbers of cops and others shot I’d expect.

Violent crime has drastically increased under the direction of the progressive left.
That seems to be what they want.
