One Pennsylvania school board member has a message for parents: "No, I don't work for you." York Suburban School District school board member Richard Robinson wrote an op-ed in the York Dispatch explaining his claim.

My parents looked at every book I brought home from public school, and we talked about its contents.
If they had a problem with any of it they would have been in the teacher’s face in a nanosecond and if they didn’t like what they heard they would have worked with community friends to get that teacher fired.
Every teacher knew that—and that is why we never had any issues.
“Some members of my York Suburban School District appear to interpret board meetings as the occasion to tell board members why they have the collective intelligence of a village idiot and how the school district ought to be addressing real problems,” school board member Richard Robinson wrote, adding “I don’t work for you.”

WHO PAYS YOUR SALARY, DOPE.????
As in King Richard? Presto, we have regressed to royalty where they think they can do what they want.
He’s too stupid to know.
He’s too stupid to know.
Public schools are plain evil. It is child abuse to send your kid there. Better to just keep them home and figure something out rather then send them into Satan’s playground.
The reply should be, "No, but you work for my children. And I'm speaking for them."
Nice comeback.
Richard, aka Dick is another voice for school choice.
The contempt of a true progressive…
Has the recall effort started?
Not only does that person need to be recalled and taken off the board, they need to live a life so uncomfortable that they have to move.
It’s an awesome thing to write. It’s perfect.
It exposes him for who he is, what he thinks, his liberal arrogance, his liberal pretentiousness, his liberal superiority. He’s there. In the open now.
York County now has a chance to choose someone else, or they want.
No. The role of the school is to represent the local taxpayers.
Robinson wrote that some members of the community interpret the public comment portion of school board meetings to show “why they have the collective intelligence of a village idiot.”>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yes, but an idiot like you does not realize THEY have the vote!
Buahahahahahahaha!
This type of attitude isn’t just from some school board member in Pa.
Similar attitudes are held by almost every member of Congress. Some even challenge that the taxpayer doesn’t pay their salaries. Maybe China does. I don’t know.
Oklahoma congressman: It’s ‘bull crap’ that constituents pay my salary
And he was re-elected.
Best reply of thread for today!
The arrogance of these people.
‘I don’t work for you’....
Make it so then and vote the scum out.
Most elected officials overlook the concept that they represent those who voted for them AND those who voted for the other candidate. The objective of a republic is to find compromise solutions, not to lord over the others.
