This happened to my SIL as well. She developed painful shingles but on a Friday evening. Through secondary methods she was able to obtain the proper medications and see a doctor the following week who prescribed her more of the same and told her to continue with treatment.
So far, none of my side of the family has had any major reactions, we are generally Scandinavian descent and the other side is mostly Native American.
Not a great exercise in trust building on vaccinations, I suppose.
Just curious...had she already gotten the shingles vax before the COVID vax?
