Bingo! After the mistreatments by her party you’d think both would’ve switched already.....they are deep deep true blue RATS! Will never change! Didn’t they both voted to impeach Trump? Yepper rats at heart!
My wife and son will probably vote for Sinema. The gratitude here is immense. These screeching hyenas think they are the only one who matters and there is only one side. They loved John McCain for knifing us again and again.
As for me, I’m an independent. I can ask for either party ballot. The GOP regularly nominates crappy Rino’s like Ducey and McSally. If Sinema needs my help, she has it.
If I was in AZ I would vote for her as well, and I emailed her and told her as much. I like her.
Actually, I have hard time to decide whom to vote for AZ senator. All GOP candidates are pretty good!
She used to be “The voice of Democrats” in Arizona.
She was the Democratic leader in AZ senate and every time something was voted on, she provided the AZ Democrat position.
Always on TV, pushing Dem. positions.
You went a long way baby!
Do not!
She is very liberal.
In a way, she is the McCain in reverse.
Meh. I just want to date her.
When Democrats called McCain “Maverick” he was stupid enough to think they Meant Tom Cruise from the movie Top Gun.
“Oh you’re such a maverick for voting with Democrats, You’re just like that brave Tom Cruise”
They’re just mad because they want to date her.
Good point.
...but she can't hold a candle to that hottie, AOC....
I remember when FReepers were saying the same thing about Paul Ryan...
AOC.... She out-blondes the blondes.
I live in Arizona and if the Republicans run a RINO I will vote for Sinema
Sorry but when did AZ ever run a real conservative?
Sinema is a brave woman. She is making a stand for freedom and The Constitution. Let the Marxist Arizona ;ihjt weight dems censure her all they want. The people will maintain their vote for her.
But she was the one, not the fifty, narrowed down as saving the Republic. That is what I responded to.
Given the disastrous Biden administration, lots of Ds will not survive....Mark Kelly for example. Sinema probably would survive if voting today.
You got me there. I hope John McCain is enjoying his time in hell
A key provision of Robert’s Rules of Order (not sure if it’s in the Senate Rules or not):
“No rule can be suspended if the negative vote is as large as the minority the rule was intended to protect.”
In 1948, Harry Truman had to get a 2/3 vote of the Democrat Convention to drop the nomination threshold from 2/3 to majority.
Harry Reid on the other hand got only a 57-40 vote to drop the confirmation threshold from 60 to majority.
It’s not the votes that count, it’s who counts the votes.
