Notice the cops in NYC are happy to arrest 9yo girls at the Museum, but never do a sweep of crime ridden areas looking for illegal weapons.... To protect and serve their retirement? As long as they go home safe at the end of the shift.
Was this the guy running on “tough on crime”?
New Yorkers are genuinely stupid. They usually elect a good mayor after electing a bad one. Two in a row will probably finish the place off.

And their bosses will actually let them do that? Or the laws there? If they got lucky after doing that, they would merely get fired and lose their pension without any further financial loss.
In the meantime, the lawbreakers would hit the Ghetto Lottery for 5-6 figures at least.
Stop and frisk the criminals [those with illegal guns] in your City, mayor.
Then lock them all up.
Fix the broken windows.
Clean your room.

So “gun violence” in the Dem cities every week. Not people doing it, the guns. Like the vehicle that the man drove into the Christmas parade to murder people——not him, the vehicle.
Killing cops means Dems win. They don’t want cops snooping on their daily crimes. Dems—— Defund or else kill them.
Once cops die Dems win again: Grab guns. Gun violence is nasty so stop law abiding families at home from having guns.
It'll be interesting to see where the Bankers will go after all of this. Most of them are not going to move out of NYC area. But they might relocate to the suburbs.

Adams doesn’t want more gun control in NYC, he wants gun control in the rest of the US. He wants to lock up farmers, Hillbillies, and working people in Ohio.
Like the previous administration, he is unable to arrive at the root cause of this problem.
New York should pass ‘Fentanyl control’ bills too - end deaths caused by illegal drugs.
Another case of New Guy is Even worse than the old guy even though that seemed unimaginable.
