Which states did Mitt Romney lose in 2012 that DeSantis would win in 2024?
At this point, I'd say the best he could do is win Florida, Ohio and Iowa.
Assume he gets 1 EV from Maine and gets all 5 from Nebraska. By my count, that gets him to 263 electoral votes.
For all his flaws, Donald Trump was able to do something that Republicans hadn't done in decades: win lots of EVs in Rust Belt states. These voters aren't going to support some establishment GOP jackass under any circumstances -- which is why they never supported Bush I, Dole, Bush II, McCain, or Romney.
A decent question, if we were on the heels of 2024, and DeSantis was a candidate for President.
What I would propose as a much more relevant question along those same lines regarding the next Presidential election, that should actually be of much more concern, now, is what has Trump done to restore election integrity in those states he won in 2016, but lost in 2020? Because if that’s not corrected, no Republican may stand a chance. Unless you don’t think election integrity had anything to do with it, of course. Thanks.
All of them
So Ok, maybe not all state , but inflation will still be in double digits, crime will still be out of control, God knows what Russia & China will do, all the Afghan Yutes Joe imported will be organized and likely will have set off attacks, Antifa & BLM won't be quiet, maybe a stock market collapse.
A Ham sandwich running as a Republican will win.
There won't be enough voter fraud to matter,
Obamalamadingdong started with a bad economy, and despite his best efforts things were improving.
Biden started with a booming economy and will run it into the ground by the time he is done.
