Federal Court Issues Nationwide Pause on Biden's Federal Employee Vaccine Mandate

A federal court in Texas has issued an injunction against President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the federal workforce, pausing implementation of a requirement for more than 2 million civilian servants.

Judge Jeffrey Brown, appointed by President Trump to the U.S. Court for the Southern District of Texas, said the case was not about whether individuals should be vaccinated or even about federal power generally.

“It is instead about whether the president can, with the stroke of a pen and without the input of Congress, require millions of federal employees to undergo a medical procedure as a condition of their employment,” Brown wrote. “That, under the current state of the law as just recently expressed by the Supreme Court, is a bridge too far.”

The Supreme Court last week struck down a Biden order that would have required private sector employers with more than 100 workers, and the U.S. Postal Service, to test or vaccinate their employees. The federal employee case was brought by Feds for Medical Freedom, which filed three different lawsuits against the mandate.

Many many retired rather than being forced to get a shot......I’ve contended since brandon came out with this unconstitutional shot mandate for fed gov employees that, that was the reason all along...to decrease the # of fed gov workers.

I know a few that have so far held out.

I spoke to my last department head before the holidays to see if he was hiring (asking for someone I know) and he said check back with him in January as he was expecting 25 or so to retire in that department to avoid the shot.... thats about 20% of the workforce just in that one dept.

So people who were coerced to take the jab under threat of being terminated will be compensated, right?

I have said from the beginning that if legal liability were introduced into this equation, the entire concept of mandates would die. There is one thing large entities fear more than COVID. It's called a lawsuit.

Maybe. But the SC interpreted an actual law that gives CMS (the folks who run Medicare) more authority than OSHA regarding vaxxes.

“Nobody tells the Deep State how to run its sandbox. Not nobody, not nohow.”

Of course people tell the deep state to go screw themselves. In 2014, the deep state told all Connecticut owners of battle rifles to register those battle rifles or the deep state would confiscate them.

More than 100,000 owners of those rifles refused. Nearly 10 years later, they’re still waiting for the weenie deep state to come and get them. And that’s in a commie, soi boi state, where they’re confused on which bathroom to use.

“whether the president can, with the stroke of a pen and without the input of Congress, require millions of federal employees to undergo a medical procedure as a condition of their employment” - said the judge
