We just saw him on an old rerun of “Monk”.

He was in Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fight Club, and Wayne's World, just to name a few.

Meat Loaf himself says that is the greatest love song ever written, and he felt privileged to sing it.

For the 1994 Baseball All-Star Game, he performed the National Anthem. I've heard some say it was a most excellent rendition. It really was pretty good.

RIP, Mr. Aday.

Sad. Disco had driven me to C&W during the late 70s. I won some concert tickets and when we went to the radio station to pick them up my wife saw the Bat Out of Hell album poster on the wall. She bought the album the next day and R&R was restored to me.

Few singers could perform as he did. His diction was perfect. Stringing the words together as he did is no little feat and he did it remarkably well. Interviews and stories about him revealed he was a decent fellow also. RIP.

VERY LITTLE INFORMATION IN THE MEDIA ABOUT HIS COMORBIDITIES, SINCE WE KNOW THAT THE COVIDIANS WANT THE STORY TO BE THAT HE WAS AN ANTI-VAXER AND DEAD DUE TO NOT FOLLOWING THE COVIDIAN LAWS.

HERE IS WHAT I FOUND:

A look back at Meat Loaf’s health scares over the years

No cause of death was given. But over the years the singer, whose real name was Marvin Lee Aday, had numerous health scares.

In 2003, Meat Loaf had heart surgery after he collapsed onstage at the Wembley Arena in London.

Four years later when performing in Newcastle, England, he told the crowd it was “probably the last show I’ll ever do” after suffering another health scare, according to The New York Times.

In an interview in 2013, Meat Loaf revealed that he had suffered “18 concussions” and opened up in more detail about why he believed his tour in the United Kingdom that year would be his last.

“My balance is off. I’ve had a knee replacement. I’ve got to have the other one replaced,” he told U.K.’s Guardian.

The singer previously said he suffers from asthma and from a medical condition that causes an irregular heartbeat.

The first time came in 2003 during a show in London, after which he was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, he told Rolling Stone at the time.

“Many people are born with this condition and can live their whole lives without ever knowing it is there,” he said in a statement at the time. “Mine appeared to have been quiet until now. The prognosis is excellent as the procedure’s success rate is over 95 percent.”

Meat Loaf underwent heart surgery at the time to treat the condition, which affects the coordinated movement of electrical signals through the heart, leading to an abnormally fast heartbeat and other arrhythmia, according to the National Institutes of Health.
