One thing we can say about Bruce: He competed as a man. He never demanded to compete against women.
He mentioned the physical aspects being the issue. Stronger, bigger cardio system, larger frame. I think this will boil things down to the trans community having to accept (wishful thinking I know) that they were born man or woman and their “transition” is a psychological one....period! No matter what they do to their bodies, it must be viewed no different than a body piercing or tattoo. Something they changed to look different and nothing more.

I don’t really care much about the name change. There have been legal processes in place for changing your name pretty much forever. OTOH, there is no way I’ll ever call him a ‘her’ or ‘she’. He’s still a man, even if he has mental priblems.

When someone presents living a life of lies as being authentically virtuous, nothings else he or she says (wow pun intended) can be regarded as bearing truth.

Someone remind Jenner that he was born a boy, raised as a boy, won competitions as a boy....then lost himself in some imaginative, ridiculous scheme....that did not change the past or the fact that he is male.

I applaud Bruce for his courage in attacking this “swimmer’.
If you call him a woman even though the cold water still gives him a shrinkage problem ... you might be a Democrat. LOL
Bruce has been consistent in this regard. He’s a mental case but he understands athletes and knows what’s right and wrong here.

Could it be because people like Bruce refer to him as a she? And last I looked “she” refers to a woman.

Why not do something truly courageous - say you’re a man with some mental issues, which is the truth.
Seems highly hypocritical.
I’m going to play devil’s advocate here. “Authentically” means this he/she is playing a role that they will fulfill at all costs to themself. BUT, even Bruce understands they are truly men at the core and no amount of surgery will ever change it.

Real easy to solve - create a third “trans” division where trans men and women can duke it out, tranno a tranno. We could even add a gymnastics /skating style 1-10 point scale judging system to add in style points and drama queenery, prima donna behavior and media posturing to the results. I’d pay to watch that spectacle. What’s not to like?
It’s pretty bad when even a nutter like Bruce Jenner comes out and says: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. You guys are taking this whole thing WAY too far.”
