My biggest concern about the Internet right now: the Powers That Be get their hands on ICANN itself. Controlling ICANN will effectively shut out any alternatives to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube in no time flat. 😒😑🙄

Gab uses Epik for its domain registration and Cloudfare for some services. Gab thinks that it's better positioned against being cancelled, and it is for now, but that all goes away when Epik and Cloudfare get squeezed.

Instead of trashing Gettr, Rumble and Truth Social, it seems to me that Torba would do better to work with those companies to come up with a totally independent solution for all of them.
