Senators to meet with Ukraine president to reaffirm US support A bipartisan group of senators is traveling to Ukraine this week to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials amid escalating tensions between Kyiv and Moscow.
Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) announced the trip on Monday. They said they are traveling to Ukraine and holding discussions “to reaffirm the U.S.’ commitment to Ukraine, which continues to face an increasingly belligerent Russia.”
Meetings with Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials were slated for Monday, according to a statement from the senators.
The development comes as U.S. officials are warning that Russia is continuing to levy threats of war against Ukraine, even after a series of diplomatic meetings over the past week that aimed to quell tensions and avoid a conflict.

If there is any way the Democrats [the Party of the People] can get the United States of America can get in a nuclear war with Russia. They will. Hillary Clinton, America’s Sweet Heart and the smartest woman in the World according to the media almost started a nuclear war with Russia. The election of Donald Trump as President caused this to be put on the back burner. The Coup of 2020 ant the total rejection of President’s leadership and wisdom coupled with him being replaced by Lying and Cheating Joe Biden again brought it to the forefront. So, here we are. The wise will prepare for the worst. Because no good thing comes from evil people. I understand that the masses love then because they are just as degenerate and depraved as they. As far is evil is concerned, the people surrounding Joe Biden, including Joe Biden have no peer. In closing, if there is any way under the sun that the Democrat Party can get us in a nuclear war with Russia. They will. And the People will love them for it.
