Roughly 30% of all anti-Semitic incidents reported worldwide in 2021 occurred in the US, according to a new report by the Jewish Agency and the World Zionist Organization.
The US had the second largest number of anti-Semitic incidents reported last year, after Europe.
Broken down by state, New York had the largest number of anti-Semitic incidents in 2021, followed by California, Florida, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Texas, where a gunman held four people hostage at a synagogue last Saturday, ranked number six.
The figures tended to correlate with the size of local Jewish populations in absolute terms.
New York, California, and Florida, which ranked first, second, and third in terms of anti-Semitic incidents, are also home to the first, second, and third largest Jewish populations in the US.
Massachusetts has the seventh largest Jewish population in the US, Pennsylvania the fifth, and Texas the ninth.
The US, which accounted for some 30% of anti-Semitic incidents reported worldwide, is home to roughly 40% of the entire Jewish population.
More troubling, however, was the report’s finding that anti-Semitic incidents in the US were more likely to be physical, rather than verbal. Outside of the US, anti-Semitic incidents were more likely to take the form of vandalism, with both physical violence and verbal assaults less common.

PS: Not so much Jooos! in China, either. See? China extwa good. Amewica extwa bad.
NYC is a mini Israel.
I would expect more anti-Semitic incidents there since there is such a high Jewish population.
Considering that 40% of Jews live in the US, the fact that only 30% of anti-Semitic incidents occur there is actually a good thing.
But this is the old leftard narrative pattern. America has a splinter in its eye. Bad America! How dare you be imperfect! Fill-in-the-blank has a log in its eye. Well, we’re improving. Good fill-in-the-blank. America once had slavery. Therefore it’s forever evil and can do no right. China has present-day slavery. Never mind that. Watch the Olympics. Make money. Pay no attention to those little men over there getting crushed. The great Xi has spoken.
And the demographics of the people commiting this anti-Semitism?
Some people did something
Ugyhur slave labor good! Ugyhurs happy to pick cotton and know their place! China good! America always bad!
Profound. Maybe half of the world’s Jew are in America, so 30% of Jew-hate here is a good sign.
They are tracked much more proficiently in the U.S.

I can tell you with great certainty what it is in Brooklyn.
Try doing an anti-Semitic assault in the Hasidic neighborhood of Williamsburg, and the last thing you see will be a foot stomping on your head.
Sing songs while picking cotton, do happy dance while being whipped. Happy to share wife with Chinese soldiers for extra rice.
Wearing a yarmulke in Paris invites anti-Semitic attacks, so nobody wears them in public. Consequently, less anti-Semitic attacks.
Yeah. I forgot about Hassids! Manhattan stuck in my mind.
With the exception of a particularly horrid fourth grade teacher when I attended public school in the USA, I can assure you my personal experience is that 80% of antisemitism in the USA is done by blacks and Muslims (a group that overlaps), followed by Hispanics.
Excepting an occasional nutter on FR that is immediately outed (and probably a Democrat troll) it’s certainly not a wide spread white person issue.
Well yeah...you have to go where the Jews are if one is an anti semite.
Exactly, 30% of the reported events. What goes unreported in other parts of the world?
There are 17 million Jewish people in the world. About half live in Israel, and about half live in America with a smattering in other countries. Having JUST 30% of that happening here is actually a good sign.
I was a little shocked at how few Jews there were left in the world outside the U.S. and Israel. U.S. must have about 80% of the world’s non-Israeli Jewish population, so I guess it’s no surprise that we have 30% of the antisemitic incidents.
