China has bought the U.S government

Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win

Peter Schweizer

That the Chinese government seeks to infiltrate American institutions is hardly surprising. What is wholly new, however, are the number of American elites who are eager to help the Chinese dictatorship in its quest for global hegemony.

Presidential families, Silicon Valley gurus, Wall Street high rollers, Ivy League universities, even professional athletes—all willing to sacrifice American strength and security on the altar of personal enrichment.

In Red-Handed, six-time New York Times bestselling investigator Peter Schweizer presents his most alarming findings to date by revealing the secret deals wealthy Americans have cut to help China build its military, technological, and economic might. Equally as astonishing, many of these elites quietly believe the Chinese dictatorial regime is superior to American democracy.

Schweizer and his team of forensic investigators spent over a year scouring a massive trove of global corporate records and legal filings to expose the hidden transactions China’s enablers hoped would never see the light of day. And as Schweizer’s past bombshells like Profiles in Corruption, Secret Empires, and Clinton Cash all made clear, there are bad actors on both ends of the political spectrum.

Exhaustively researched, crisply told, and chilling, Red-Handed will expose the nexus of power between the Chinese government and the American elites who do its bidding.

Think of it. One year before now China was worried we would bomb THEM. Amazing what one year of a weak POTUS can do.

China doesn’t need a military to cripple the US. They just need to continue nudging the useful idiots they already bought and groomed.

They need a military adventure because the economy inside China is much worse than it is depicted based on propaganda statistics worthy of East Germany.

There's also that whole CCP manifest-destiny-restoration-of-China's-imperial-glory theme emanating from Beijing you don't seem to have noticed.

Given the utterly decrepit and demoralized state of the US military at the moment, the last thing anyone in DC would want is a two front war, one in Europe and one in the Pacific, but since both China and Russia can smell the steaming incompetence in DC all the way across the oceans, that looks like what we are about to get.

China is a threat in as far as we have become too complacent and trusting. We have overcome such threats in the past:

https://www.investors.com/politics/columnists/economy-china-growth-threat/

As Wray correctly stated a couple of years ago, China’s threats include, “economic espionage, data hacking, intellectual property theft, bribery, blackmail and other coercive attempts “to sway our government’s policies, distort our country’s public discourse, and undermine confidence in our democratic processes and values.”

The Trump Administration started the movement to address these threats but we still have a long way to go. The Biden Administration may have caused us to backslide on policy but the people are waking up to China’s threats and we will be victorious in the end.

Beijing and Moscow both know they have a narrow window of opportunity here. Adding a substantial military defeat to the American junta’s growing pile of cock ups would lead to a much needed political, bureaucratic and military shaking-out that would leave them comparatively worse off. So they might well roll the dice.

We are soon about to see just how worse.

I’m really worried about “foreign challenges” this year. Our leadership is a joke and our adversaries know it. The resolve and readiness simply aren’t there.

Any one of several potential flashpoint could easily ignite and make a mess of things.

I think you are right. China doesn’t want to actually go to war, but thinks that having a strong military will help them get concessions from nearby countries.

For example, being able to intrude on the Philippines fishing zones.

And get Taiwan to agree to chipmaking technology transfers.

Actually, they desperately need a short, sharp, ultra high intensity war to rid themselves of their huge surplus of military aged males. One Child has really screwed them badly, and they’re now starting to ask hard questions of their government about why they won’t ever be able to find a wife. And they’re actually starting to question other things, too, which the Chinese government *cannot* have happen.

It’s all that Maple Syrup.

They are trying to lull us into a deep slumber with all that Maple Syrup.

That’s why I put Pepsi on my pancakes.

Seems like a customized virus would do that in one fell swoop.
