So when are her voters going to retire her? Is her district Gerrymandered?

I don’t think it’s called Gerrymandering when it comes to guaranteeing black representatives. /s

Missouri has two (out of 8) congressional districts carved out in such a way to make sure that blacks will hold those seats forever—one in K.C. and one in St.L.

The seat will be hers as long as she chooses to run for it. The only possible way someone will ‘retire’ her is if she is not deemed radical enough. That’s how Cori Bush got elected in St. Louis. The previous holder of the seat had ‘inherited’ it from his father. The K.C. seat has had the same guy for decades.

The 5th District of Florida is like that. It includes the west side of Orlando and the heart of Jacksonville, two cities 140 miles apart that don’t have much in common. Nevertheless, they kept electing Corinne Brown, a corrupt black racist, until she went to jail for her crimes.
