I don’t think it’s called Gerrymandering when it comes to guaranteeing black representatives. /s

Missouri has two (out of 8) congressional districts carved out in such a way to make sure that blacks will hold those seats forever—one in K.C. and one in St.L.

The seat will be hers as long as she chooses to run for it. The only possible way someone will ‘retire’ her is if she is not deemed radical enough. That’s how Cori Bush got elected in St. Louis. The previous holder of the seat had ‘inherited’ it from his father. The K.C. seat has had the same guy for decades.
