Verifying that an applicant is a properly registered citizen voter is now claimed by the Dems to be suppressing the vote. People have a choice of submitting their driver’s license number, state ID number or the last four digits of their social security number on their applications. Counties then have to match this information with voter profiles to approve them for a mail-in ballot. Sounds good to me.
Not a “voting restriction.” It is a ballot integrity requirement that the ballot requester prove who they are.

Excellent! Provide valid verifiable ID or show up in person and show ID. That’s exactly how it should be. The same goes for requiring that poll watchers have a MEANINGFUL right to observe....as in close enough that the vote counter can smell their breath. As in close enough that they can read each ballot being counted and raise objections to flawed ballots being counted.
Anybody opposed to these and other election integrity measures simply wants to commit election fraud.
Take two weeks to vote. Use all the mail in, absentee, drop box, and ballot harvesting you want. We will reject every fraudulent vote and prosecute whoever produces them.
