We took our first cruise around 1996 and Royal Caribbean just stopped offering skeet shooting off the stern. Damn.

Who at this point in time and space is dumb enough to book a cruise? I don’t want to meet these people.

Put a - sign in front of that and that’s what we had here at 8am actually -14. it’s up to a balmy -2 right now so I’m thinking speedo. Still won’t get me on a cruise.
That’s not new - which is why you pack plenty of extra gas, radiator stop leak, spare tires etc. You never know when you might get caught in a buffalo crossing in the Yukon.
I would not hesitate to book a cruise if they cancelled their useless vax mandates. At this point everyone I know has been or is “positive” or exposed, as we all are, everywhere we go.

Just a couple of questions:
a.) How long till they start eating each other?
b.) When they say, 'women and children first', does that mean they eat them first? I always thought the fatties should get eaten first. They last longer, lighten the boat, and are much more succulent.

My wife and I did a fall honeymoon cruise up the St. Lawrence River around to NYC back in 1991. Couple years ago I researched the ship we were on and on its last cruise, the plumbing stopped working so they brought porta potties on the deck for the customers to use and shortly after that, declared bankruptcy in some South/Central American country leaving the passengers to find their own way home.

The weather started getting rough....
A good friend of mine took a cruise to Alaska and it was wonderful.
A few years later she was killed in a traffic accident far away from home. I miss her terribly. She was so great a personality, despite being a Lib. I loved her. I wish she had stuck to cruising.
I think this is a lot like one of those books/movies where the ending is uncertain.
Since the relative danger of the illness and efficacy of the tests only exist in the mind of each reader, the reader gets to make up the numbers.
Some Germans had nice personalities too. Anyone who abides the stolen election:
