Ah, but there is one significant difference between Carter and Biden. Carter would not start a war to distract the country. On the other hand, Biden is capable of anything.
Or maybe I should say Biden’s handlers are capable of anything.

At least Carter had all his faculties. In Biden’s case, his staff is running things.
Honestly, I expected Kamila to be running things. It would be easy to do under the circumstances, but she is THAT incompetent. Plus, his staff likely does not want to give up its power.

Carter is mostly viewed as incompetent but well-intentioned.
The destruction under the Biden regime is deliberate and would be worse if they could get away with it faster.
To a much greater extent with Biden, we do not know who is really in charge and making decisions.
