Taken from a 1/2022 interwiew with Sister Gramick:

"I was doing a Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, and I met a gay man, Dominic Bash, at a home Mass. Dominic had been in the Franciscans for a brief time. He knew he was gay from an early age, but of course in those days you didn't talk about it. If you went to confession, which he did, you would be thrown out."

Sadly, many if not most in the body of Christ look on homosexuality as the unpardonable sin. Adultery, drug/porno/alcohol addictions, fornication, hatred and even murder are sins from which one can be saved - but homosexuals are out of reach and unforgivable in the minds of too many Christians.

Christ died for sinners - all sinners. You and I may have a limit to the mercy and grace we share but He has no limit. He died for and loves the most vile of humanity. We are called to be like Him.

The Word of God says (paraphrase): "The Law came by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ". No man will be saved or made righteous by keeping the Law because we're incapable of doing so. We are saved by God's grace through faith in the finished work (life/death/resurrection) of His Son.

Sister Gramick sounds like a nonjudgmental and compassionate person but I believe she misses an important point in the gospel. The gospel of Jesus is one of 'grace' and 'truth'. I believe Sister Gramick is missing the 'truth' part. It's telling when in her interview she says, "Dominic ... knew he was gay from an early age." Like all homosexuals, Dominic "knows" a lie about himself. He has believed a lie regarding his identity and sexuality. There are strongholds in his mind, emotions and body that will need Christ to be overcome. I think of Jesus' encounter with a woman caught in adultery. He tells her (paraphrase), "I don't condemn you, go and sin no more." This is grace and truth. Christians needs to show grace and mercy like Christ. "Given the opportunity" we also need to let homosexuals know in a Spirit of love that they a believing a lie about themselves and homosexuality. - Romans 1.

Has anyone ever heard Frances say the word “sin”? Is there such a thing in his version of the Bible?

Yes, I have read his words that the most important sin is pride, or lack of empathy, or maybe, greed.

The general take is anything which opposes Communism is a great sin... Anything which opposess unlimited immigration, is a great sin...

OK...if that ministry consists of “hey,Christ takes a very dim view of at least some of your activities” that's absolutely reasonable.

Homosexuals know they are living in sin. They don’t care. In fact they want Christians to glorify and embrace that sin.

The Pope is a debauched Heretic. You rarely hear him talk about saving souls. Instead he spends all his energy talking about fake man-made Climate Change and illegal aliens.

This Pope and this Vatican are the center of all evil in the world.

News is always bringing up how churches are closing and less people identify as Christian. But then you read the updates from denominations who dont compromise on their principles and their numbers are continually growing.

I’ve never had an issue with homosexuals attending church. The difference is recognizing what is sin. The simple fact is it is ALL sin and we are ALL guilty of sinning. You don’t start attending church once you’ve stopped the sin. You go to church to first recognize it is sin, then start on the journey of ridding it from your life. Or at the least, not letting it hold you in bondage.

That is the part that I have so much problem with. They are sayig churches dont allow homosexuals to attend, when the truth is they want churches to say it isn’t a sin.

The only sin, as he sees it, is “rigidity,” by which he means adherence to orthodoxy.

Very true. Well, anything that opposes communism. Global warming. Homosexual deviants. Mass illegal immigration across ANY border. (Except Russia's border. China's border. Or those trying to leave Cuba for freedom.)

Homosexuals know they are living in sin. They don't care. In fact they want Christians to glorify and embrace that sin.

I think we need to be careful when we use the word 'all' to characterize a category of people. 'All' women, 'all blacks', 'all' illegal immigrants, 'all' white people.

The book, "The Cross and the Switchblade", tells the life of Nicky Cruz, who was a violent demon possessed gang leader in NYC. David Wilkerson, a young pastor called to minister to the gangs of NYC, was instrumental in bringing Nicky to Christ. When Nicky became a Christian, he was still living with his girfriend. Although he was a Christian, he was completely ignorant that he was committing fornication. Once given further Word on the sin of fornication, Nicky stopped living and sleeping with his girlfriend. What's the point of me telling this story? The point is that people, even Christians, don't always recognize that what they're doing is sinful behavior.

Skimmed the article.

I don't really have a problem with someone if they wanted to proselytize to the homos (the sinners). The key is that they are trying to help them overcome sin.

My impression, though, is that this is beyond that and simply ignores the homo problem.

Interesting that this nun started up some “church” herself. I know another nun that did that and has been chastised (post-humously) by Francis:imgbox

He’s obsessed with homosexuality. Makes me wonder if he’s one himself. I can’t wait until he’s removed in whatever way God sees fit.
