Falsified documents claiming Michigan’s electors voted for former President Donald Trump were given by state election officials to a congressional panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot.
Sixteen Republicans, including the current co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, signed certificates asserting they were Michigan’s presidential electors and sent the illegitimate documents to the National Archive. The unofficial documents were part of a failed Republican strategy to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory in battleground states, which is under new scrutiny from a U.S. House panel and the Michigan Attorney General’s office.
Each political party nominates its own slate of electors, but only electors representing the candidate who wins the popular vote can participate in the Electoral College. President Joe Biden won the election in Michigan by 154,000 votes and Michigan’s 16 Electoral College votes were officially recorded for Biden on Dec. 14, 2021, in accordance with state law.
On the same day, Republican nominees gathered at the Michigan Republican Party headquarters in Lansing to sign the unofficial documents. The documents also falsely claimed Republican nominees signed the certificates in the Michigan Capitol.
A group of Republican lawmakers tried to escort their nominees into the state Capitol to deliver the documents. They were denied entry by the Michigan State Police.
Three days earlier, the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit backed by 15 state lawmakers and 4 members of Congress seeking to invalidate Michigan’s election results.
A dozen Republicans also signed a separate legal brief arguing Michigan’s electoral votes should not be counted until the state Legislature certifies the results. Michigan’s Board of State Canvassers had already certified the election results as required by the state Constitution.

Every time I hear about someone fighting out against the 2020 election fraud, it is light seeing a little light, however faint, out in the darkness. And there is a lot of darkness now, too much. God bless and strengthen those who are fighting and not giving up.

Michigan’s governor’s race is another one that will be critical in November. Win that race, get Gestapo Gretchen out and Republicans can pass real election integrity laws to make a repeat of the Steal impossible.
All one needs to do is look at the vote count in Detroit where they kicked out every non Democrat observer and then put up big boards over the windows to prevent anybody from seeing what they were doing as they conducted the count. There was simply no reason to do that if they were not massively corrupt.
Yes, I’m hoping that Her Pomposity and her harpy squad get shown the door. She’s being awfully quiet, despite the dreaded coof numbers being way up, so she knows that she has to keep her head down.
Hopefully a lot of MAGA people took up empty Precinct Committee positions in the past couple of years and are still filling those seats. Gotta take over the GOP from the inside out.
