I support West in the primary. But, if Abbott wins the primary, yeah, he gets my vote. This is not the time to be doctrinaire. We cannot let any democrat in office, period.

Other than being a one-term Congressman West has no experience whatsoever to become a governor. He should run for Congress again or the senate. Trump has endorsed Abbott.

I agree. I like West, but he can't beat Robert Francis O'Beato.

Abbott is doing a more than decent job; I don't consider the job open.

He's not taking CA jobs, the State does that perfectly well on its own. Plus CA doesn't help itself at all, they try to push business out

You’re right about CA & I’m not criticizing him for it, it’s smart of TX to do so. Not so much lately, but a few years ago there were commercials on TV regularly inviting CA businesses to TX. He, or his admin, was aggressively courting businesses to move.

You really think Beto has a snowballs chance of beating any Republican? What has he done except run his mouth?

On another note, at the very first chance the opponent of O’Rourke should accuse him of stealing from the Hispanics with his name. Tell the cameras, this is no different than an Irish BOY wearing dreadlocks, while calling himself De Vonte. “In the culture of today, we just can’t go along with impugning the culture of others by stealing their names for ourselves”. Something like that.

I know directly that he is involved in bringing CA businesses to Texas. I just might be somewhat involved in that myself. Happy about Tesla but not so much about Meta.

Beta O’Cuck is a retard. Col. West will beat him like a rented mule. ............................... But Beto will have the backing of the media. Be ready for the 24/7 reporting of West in Iraq. The war crime of the century, it will be like Jan 6 in coverage.

I thought West was chair of the party in Texas?

He’s using that power to unseat the governor of the same party?

I like West, but I’d say that stinks, as Abbott isn’t THAT bad.

How long has West even been in Texas?

Abbott was born there, was the AG for damn near 20 years.

Don’t mess with Texas, I’d say.

Lots of good opinion and thinking, thanks everybody! It looks like typical campaign hijinks to me. If there’s a groundswell for Allen West the locals will know it and quick.

I understand. I’d be more nervous about Meta too. For your sake, hopefully many of the CA employees won’t transfer, but even without them, the Libtard culture will.

“It’s not that Abbott is bad, he’s just not an aggressive Conservative. It took a bit of effort for him to get on the border, instead of being the leader to jump on the issue.”

Actually, by far the biggest delay was for the contractor (the SAME contractor who was building Trump’s wall prior to Biden stopping it on Day 1) to get NEW supplies of the metal wall segments. There were plenty of the wall segments already fabricated and paid for by the federal government but the Bidenites refused to sell them to Texas.

Beta O’Cuck is not a serious, first-tier candidate. He had his shot in 2018 with the same gaslighting ultraleft media behind him 100%, and he still couldn’t win. He’s got even less of a chance in 2022, carrying the baggage of the child molester/pedophile occupying the White House.

Baloney. Two terms is enough for Governor. If Abbott couldn’t get done what he needed to do in 8 years, it’s time to let someone else have a shot. A ficus plant could beat Beta O’Cuck in 2022 running as a Republican.

I think the same thing happened with Trey Grayson that year. A Mitch McConnell polling firm showed him “destroying” Rand Paul and we know how that turned out.
