Me too. these rules were intended to make it tough to pass anything.
In absence of an actually smaller government, the rules do the next best thing.
If the Election Fraud Act goes down to defeat, it is officially a lame duck Congress. They will only pass resolutions for National Excema Day.
However, it will be very busy for the Executive Branch as an infinite number of unconstitutional EO's drafted by the Deep State are rubber-stamped by Biden as he drools in his pudding.
Country is screwed if we need Manchin and this gal to save the day.
Send out the toupee signal!!!!!
It may have been better for her to be in the Senate than McCain.
In her brief victory speech in November of 2018, she cited McCain three times. Twice in the last paragraph, including in the last sentence of the speech.
Not that I’m a fan of McCain but she told them all who she was in that speech.
Schmuckie Schumer
How long before they figure out a scheme to pass legislation with less than 50 votes? I’d bet at least one opinion piece gets floated within the next two weeks.
Lol
Assume you live in AZ so you might agree with the observation others have made that she’s probably the most conservative senator we can get from there. If so, she’s proven to be a lot more dependable and less of a snake as a Democrat than McCain, the alleged Republican.
God knows I’d trade either of our Illinois rats for her! And toss in our fatbastard governor to boot.
I'd trade BOTH our NY senators for her.
Been listening to the lefty Sirius station today - heads are exploding, it’s a lot of fun to listen to.
I think her strong stand is more likely to bring Manchin with her. He’s got an extra ounce of cover: “It’s not like I’m the only one who thinks this idea sucks.”
I remember that! But what was that from exactly?
Sen. Sinema was one of eight Senators voting against the $15 minimum wage provision of a COVID stimulus package. She made her vote clear, which drew the ire of MANY lefties!

She made a typical leftardian speech, blah blah blah different states are doing voter suppression, blah blah blah January 6 and Orange Man Bad. But so long as she’s voting no on discarding the filibuster, I’m happy.
I could kiss her.
That's EXACTLY where we are. Would you rather see the Senate run by Mitch and Cornball?
My wife is a middle of the roader, who has been pushed right by the last two years. She thought Brnovich would be good, but he sucks. She really likes Sinema who at least bucks her party some of the time.
