Supreme Court set to issue opinions This Morning on Vaccine Mandates (live thread) [update SCOTUS blocks business mandate at reply 115]

ASHINGTON (TND) — The U.S. Supreme Court is set to begin issuing opinions Thursday morning.

It’s expected that among them will be a ruling on the vaccine mandate for large employers and healthcare workers.

In a special session this past Friday to hear the case, Chief Justice John Roberts remarked that the federal government has never imposed a mandate like this on private companies.

The rest of the court's conservative majority also appeared to be leaning towards opposing it.

However, they seemed to be more understanding of the requirement for healthcare workers, saying that the government can impose conditions when there's government funding involved.

Court watchers now mostly expecting a split decision.

The opinions are expected to start coming down at 10 a.m. Thursday.

“I used to work for a company that would, without warning, lay people off.”

They did you a favor. Mind if I ask the name of the company so I can cause them some problems?

IMO some tortured ruling is being crafted and they will dump it on us late Friday night.

I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Maybe they were going to come up with the wrong ruling and need more time for pressure and bribes.

I fear they may be hard at working polishing the proverbial turd.

Busy little bees they are.

If it's just about funding by government...then every person receiving Medicare or Medicaid or Food Stamps etc etc...can be forced to take the shot or lose their benefit.

That's gonna hurt Medi-care/caid. I'd bet some businesses will quit accepting them. And who knows how that'll go over in States like Texas that don't allow "vaccine" mandates..? Will FedGov stop stealing FICA taxes from citizens in those States?

Not to mention, maybe this will be the tripwire that starts getting rid of all this crap FedGov is spending money on that it's not Constitutionally allowed to!

saying that the government can impose conditions when there’s government funding involved.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There’s government funding involved in practically everything, that’s how they get their hooks involved in practically everything.
Federal aid to public schools is a mere 10% of school’s budget yet that allows feds to dictate which bath rooms to use.
If this Supreme Court allows the Biden puppeteers to go ahead with this mandate, I predict that Social Security and Medicare recipients won’t be far behind. “Take the jab or we will take away what you’ve earned.”
Boom
Gorsuch:
But if this Court
were to abide them only in more tranquil conditions, declarations of emergencies would never end and the liberties
our Constitution’s separation of powers seeks to preserve
would amount to little.
