New Orleans, Louisiana, is one of the latest areas of the country to reimplement a mask mandate, nearly two years after the start of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
New Orleans Health Director Dr. Jennifer Avegno made the announcement on Tuesday, giving the city a day’s notice before the coming change.

Pima County, AZ, issued another mask mandate a few days before Christmas. Lots and lots of people are ignoring it. I’m still ignoring the original mandate from 2020.
The Carnival Season started in New Orleans on Jan 6 and ends with Mardi Gras on Tuesday March 1.
I know all those drunk women on Bourbon Street flashing their boobs for cheap beads can feel better knowing they are protected from Covid by wearing a mask....
Most of them are so drunk Covid doesn’t stand a chance. A couple of hurricanes from Pat O’Briens and nothing can infect you.
I am not even fighting or saying anything anymore. I am simple smiling to myself and waiting until the liberal bloodbath in 10 months :)
Not going back there with my tourist dollars. Just as I will never go back to Manhattan.
It wasn’t so long ago that wearing a mask in public was a crime - there was an exception carved out for Mardi Gras paraders.
