Yes, it’s always the wind that makes it uncomfortable for me in winter...and keeps us from burning up in the summer. LOL! Unless it causes a sandstorm, then all bets are off.

Well I remembered that Adam Cartwrite actor(Pernell Roberts) played the character Trapper John in the television show “Trapper John M.D.” so I figured that was what you were going for.

The wind makes it uncomfortable for EVERYONE during winter.

We like it during summer and don’t have to worry about dust storms like y’all do. But when we want it most because it’s blazing hot, we can’t seem to get it. Murphy’s Law. LOL

There are a LOT of Murphy’s Laws lately! LOL! The breezes do no good when the temp is over 100. It feels like it’s searing the skin off your face. Ack. That is why I’m loving the weather we’re having now!

OK, HERE IS THE ANSWER:

The missing character in #6 was Fonzie, played by Henry Winkler. That episode was Season 1 in 1974, before he was one of the leads:


In #3, Rhoda's brings a date to Mary's 1973 dinner party. Mary's not in the picture, but Rhoda's date, Steve Waldman, is played by Henry Winkler. He is seated in back by the window due to lack of seating. Hard to tell with the '70s hair.

Wow! What a good eye you have. I totally didn’t recognize Winkler in that second picture. Thanks for answering the enigma. :)

Good job! I never did either. Or several of the other shows. Probably because my dad or hubby had control of the “knobs”. LOL!

By the way, the Mary Tyler Moore episode in question, “The Dinner Party” is one of the better MTM episodes, and available on YouTube. Well worth a watch.

We don’t get as hot as you do and we definitely aren’t as dry. The wind is welcome.

At least you’re finally getting the break you’ve been waiting for. Enjoy it while you can.

Now we just have to get some rain down there.

I guess I’d better add that one to my list! I missed a lot of those shows because of being on the night shift at the mall.

We keep getting these alerts saying “rain in the next 24 hours” and then zippo. I wish they’d just put up or shut up. LOL!

They should just shut up. Then if you do get rain, it’ll be a pleasant surprise. LOL

When should you expect that cold front to hit your area? I hope it doesn’t get too dramatic there. I think the coastal states will have the worst of it.

I got 6 out of 10 in that quiz. It asked which character was not in the pictures which made it a little difficult but still fun to play.

It was fun to play, but my memory didn’t help me sometimes to remember characters not there. Was that your experience? Thanks for taking the quiz!

We have one front coming through tomorrow night into Thursday but the one you’re referring to is supposed to come through sometime Saturday. Our weatherfolks are saying, at this point, that we shouldn’t expect any accumulation because it’ll be a rain/snow mix. AccuWeather says there’s a possibility for an Arctic blast to shoot down out of Canada at the same time and give us much more snow. We’ll see who’s correct. I’m keeping my eyeballs peeled on the situation.
