The hashtag #BareShelvesBiden has been making the rounds on Twitter as shoppers use the slogan when posting pictures of empty and sparse grocery store shelves to the social media site.
Images of barren shelves were shared by Americans far and wide, including media members, politicians, and other shoppers as they feel the effects of supply chain issues and labor shortages under the Biden administration.
Curtis Houck, the managing editor at NewsBusters, shared images of shelves that appear to be picked clean in Oakton, Virginia:
Conservative comedians and hosts of the “Hodgetwins” podcast Keith and Kevin Hodge retweeted images of desolate shelves that were apparently photographed by another Twitter user:
Red State’s Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar shared pictures of sparse shelves at Stater Bros in Simi Valley. “This was the 2nd store we went to looking for bagels. Found the bagels but zero – ZERO – plain cream cheese,” Van Laar wrote. “If you want Kraft parmesan cheese or Top Ramen, you’re pretty much out of luck.”

Was in my local Walmart today; we’re not a large population area, maybe 20k or so over a bunch of square miles but Wally’s shelves were bare in lots of items.
Not that I drink it, but Gatorade is as rare as gold dust.
Went to Sam’s Saturday - looked like a Bulgarian market in the 70s.
Yep.
No Spring water. No Orange Juice. No chocolate candy bars today at grocery.
Pet food shelves empty spaces also.
New chant “BS Biden” for “Bare Shelves Biden.”
He still doesn’t understand Let’s Go Brandon.
The world is just moving too fast for Slow Joe.
No O.J. at my W-M either and that’s a daily staple for me.
All according to plan.
It’s awfully early in the winter for shelves to be going bare.
At least by spring, there’s the potential for some early cool weather crops.
I’d lay money on the fact that most people don’t have enough food to tough it out for a couple more months.
Welcome to living under Marxist Communism.
You have to stock up when you see it. I have about 2 1/2 gallons of OJ in the fridge.

Don’t say where you heard it but a friend of my uncle knows a guy who can open up his Buick wagon in back and make a deal on some Gatorade, Lunchables and Saltines.
I don’t drink the stuff, so no worries.
Meijer’s in Indiana - No Noodles - Orange Juice - Frozen Food 10% in stock - Dairy aisle - almost empty. I have never seen this store so empty.
But worthless Secretary of Transportation Butthead is visiting LA-Long Beach and will solve the Supply Chain Issues.
I went to the store today, lots of bare shelves or shelves with only one or two items. Managed to find a lone package of noodles way in the back of totally empty pasta shelves.
Indeed.
Next on the agenda?
Rationing, perhaps?
Might Venezuela's experience provide a clue or so?
Not an historian, just wondering.

At first I thought these dealerships were going out of business when I drove by them. I can imagine the wait time to get a new car for certain popular models, and the lack of opportunity to negotiate.

Had my car serviced recently at the dealership where I bought my car. Empty showroom and very few cars outside.
