Jesse Watters has been named the permanent host of the 7 p.m. ET timeslot on Fox News Channel with a new hour-long program "Jesse Watters Primetime," FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced on Monday.
"Jesse’s versatility and hosting acumen has grown exponentially over the last five years, and he has developed a deep connection to the audience through two hit shows The Five and Watters’ World. We look forward to watching him expand his connection even further through this new solo weeknight hour," Scott said.
Watters, who co-hosts the wildly successful "The Five" and the weekend program "Watters’ World," will take over the "Fox News Primetime" slot that has been filled by rotating guest hosts since the network shook up its programming lineup last year.
Watters will remain co-host of "The Five," and a new Saturday night program to replace "Watters’ World" will be announced later this year.
"Jesse Watters Primetime" will debut on Jan. 24.
"I’m thrilled to take on this new challenge and am grateful for the opportunity," Watters said.

WOW! They actually made a good choice. They pushed out Wallace and promoted Waters. I still need to see some more positive steps before I can be convinced to come back but this is a positive step.

The 7pm slot has been relatively weak in the overall lineup. This may improve that.
The other ratings black hole is Cavuto.
Watters now has three shows to his two.

Just get Whorealdo off the show.
He makes a good foil.
It’s also a make it or break it for Watters. If he can’t brink the reatinsg up, they’ll probably get rid of him.

I think they need to be a bit more creative for the show to interest me. I like what Gutfeld does, mixes news with humor and has rotating guests. It’s different. They can’t just have 7pm be the same as 8pm and the same as 9pm and the same as 10pm but with different hosts. I only need one hour of that, so I choose Tucker.
Cavuto needs to play in the highway.
I’ve no idea who he’s even replacing at this point. I haven’t watched Faux News since Nov. 2020.
Very talented speaker and moved the needle to the right.
