So many are afraid of losing their little corner of comfort and some luxuries (all of which will be lost anyway if this is allowed to continue). It’s the ultimate irony; losing everything in a foolish attempt to keep something.

The obvious problem is that no individual, or even a small group of people, can effectively do what needs done. It has to be a massive, coordinated wave of forceful opposition, against not only the corrupt leaders but also the degenerate people who enable them.
