More information emerged Saturday about Jamal Simmons, who was recently hired as communications director for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Simmons made a donation to a presidential candidate in June 2015, sending a $250 contribution to the campaign of Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, according to Federal Election Commission filings.
Simmons previously expressed support for Paul in 2014, when he responded to the senator's call for speeding up deportations of "DREAMers and other immigrant children."
"I liked him so much last week," Simmons wrote about the senator.

Uh, oh. The left is going to hound him without mercy. The media will report it as a “scandal” that Simmons donated any money to Paul, like it is illegal to support a Republican.

He may get the same treatment as the guy who helped create the Firefox browser and donated to the positive side of the California Proposition that would enshrine in the state constitution that marriage is between one man and one woman.He was drummed out of the company.
