It’s been crazy for sure.
we got about 9 inches which has melted a lot
but a neighbor’s tree broke off a big limb and it landed on our gutter and fence. We got it cleaned up but I still have to contact the insurance company.
Not looking forward to more snow nor the frigid temps coming behind it.
Y’all doing okay out your way?
Good evening My ((HUGS))
Have you got snow?

Yes, we’ve been having a “grand” time down here. Snow Sunday night and today we got ice. They got a lot of snow across the northern part of the state today.
Now your turn is coming up. That’s a mighty wide swath of snow moving in on you tonight.
Sorry, disregard, guess you don’t have any of the white stuff in your area.
You got that right. At first, I thought it would move more north and stay west of DC, then, until I recently looked at the radar. UGH!
Have fun Hangin' at the FReeper Cafe.
Be safe out there.
To our military and allies: thank you for all you do.
Good night.
You got more snow than we did, and more hassles with it. We got 5 inches Sunday night and it was all gone Tuesday. We didn’t have trouble with power outages here but there were areas across the state that did.
The brunt of today’s mess scooted JUST north of us and left us with just some ice. Again, not enough to knock out power so we’re thanking our lucky stars.
I wish you could have been lucky, too, and not had the tree damage you’re dealing with.
Gonna be c-c-c-c-cold overnight with lows in the low teens. There’s a nasty little wind blowing, too, which doesn’t help matters. BRRRRRRR
20 deg here, brrrr...
Woulda been nice if it missed you but it looks like you’ll get a good dose. :-( I hope you don’t need to go anywhere tomorrow.
Howdy, Kathy.
You’ve certainly had some crazy weather up there today. The fog bank looked just wild as it moved in and out at the airport most of the day.
Hey there, radu!
Did it get as bad there as they predicted? I sure hope not. It was very chilly here today. Only got up to about 46, but there was a very chill wind along with lots of sunshine. It looked nice till you opened the door. LOL!
Some fog at 1pm and the sun.
You can't see me. He was there at least 4 hours.
Howdy, luvie.
I have to say we got lucky today. We had freezing rain and ice but not enough to cause power outage problems. The cars are encased in ice and there’s ice coating the trees.
We aren’t going anywhere until Saturday because the roads are glazed with ice but we’re in much better shape than a lot of the state. They got a lot of wet, slushy snow that that has now turned to solid ice on the roads. Adair has a couple of videos posted at the storm chasers site that he took up around Nashville.
I’ve heard cars on the highway close by today but haven’t seen traffic on our road. It’s never salted and there’s a steep hill out front. Just can’t get up that thing when it’s glazed with ice.
I’d have been happy with your weather today. LOL Our high was 32 but it started dropping not long after I woke up. It’s 21 now and supposed to bottom out around 12. Nashville expects single digits. BRRRRRRRRRRR
just how it looked here minus the ice
That fog is STILL moving in and out at the airport tonight.
Did the fog make the streets slippery this afternoon while you were out?
I do hope the hawk left with an empty stomach. You’ve lost enough of your feathered buddies this winter.
Brrrr...it looks miserably cold up there via the webcam, and I guess at -2 it is. LOL!
I’m glad it didn’t get as bad as you expected, but having the cars and trees encased in ice is NOT a good thing. Glad you didn’t need to be anywhere but at home today...where it was nice and warm.
