These morning show hosts are not exactly household names. Not many people watch, I only see CBS Mornings because it comes on after my local news and I switch it off soon after it starts. About all I can gather is that Gayle King hates White people.
Well other than her white girlfriend.
Yep. You're right...they're all painted orange.
straight White people might be more accurate, and definitely not straight White males.
It's kinda like the game of Red Rover. If you "break through" the chain it means that it was a weak link.
I had Direct T.V. and they had so much junk on there...and I was paying $800 a yr. for mostly junk. Dumped them.
I live in the country..thought about long distance antenna....but really don't miss T.V.
I have the Internet..and Amazon Prime...if I want to be entertained.
FRegards...
Downs insisted she get airtime
Not all men agreed
She acknowledged she slept with her married boss to further her career
God love her
That was disturbing to watch as he had difficulty catching his breath. He looked and sounded fine today, though.
Hard to tell on computer audio, but he sounded like he had a head cold.
Who da Hoda?
My wife is adamantly opposed to getting the booster shot. I tend to agree but am more open to it.
The newest trend of celebrities who are fully vaccinated testing positive for Covid 19 with no symptoms is stupefying to me. Why should anyone care if a person has a positive test but is not sick at all? How many thousands or even millions of people from any illness could test positive but not be sick? How many medical professionals throughout history were exposed but never developed a disease?
This Covid 19 sensationalism needs to stop.
Been downhill since the monkey left.
Heard of her, I never have.
Poor Ron DeSantis. He definitely appears to be trying not to cry. It probably does have to do with his wife’s health concerns. 🙏🏻
Mutations in the viral genome occur randomly during viral replication (e.g. 'copying' errors, etc). Usually these mutations put the virus at a disadvantage, and the virus/viruses with those unhelpful or deleterious mutations will not survive or replicate.
Sometimes, however, the mutations will give an advantage to the virus, and a virus/viruses that have these advantageous mutations will out-reproduce and out-survive viruses without these mutations.
Very effective vaccines, that prevent infection and viral replication in the vaccinated do not give the virus a chance to mutate in vaccinated individuals. Thus no mutations can occur in those individuals.
On the other hand, if a vaccine is only marginally effective, and allows viral infection and replication in vaccinated individuals, it allows viral mutations and selection for advantageous mutations to occur.
The most important point for our current batch of vaccines is that any mutations that occur that give the virus an advantage against the immune response induced by the vaccine will be selected for (those viruses will out reproduce the others). Thus, the vaccinated who become infected become a perfect environment/host for selection of viral mutants that are unsusceptible to the vaccine-induced immune response.
I hope this explains it well enough to make sense. It's a similar scenario to selection for chemotherapy-resistant cancer cells in patients being treated with chemotherapy.
Thank you for that. You should have been my science teacher.:)
