I could accept his statement EXCEPT the reference to violent terrorists.
People going into the Capitol was a mistake. But they were demonstrators even if some were violent, they weren’t terrorists, there wasn’t an insurrection and we’ve seen video of police letting many of them in and telling them they could protest inside of they were peaceful.
I generally don’t turn on any given conservative until they prove unequivocally that they’re turncoats.
Especially if we find out this is a lie, or spun.
But yes, the idea these were even “riots”…is riotous! Much less “terror” (misused ever since 9/11).

I'd say conspiring with the CCP and their germ warfare attack to steal a landslide election constitutes a pretty large scale assault on our Constitution . But then again, maybe that is just me.

On that score, I understand where he's coming from. He's elderly (high risk category) and got covid. He also wants to tout that he got a lot done, and passed more efficiently that the fed gov typically does.
It's after that, where his messaging should have been from the start, that he helped make things available in record time, but now it's up to the individual and their health care provider if medicine X or Y is best for the individual (& without mandates or societal restrictions).
