After a visit from Governor Kathleen C. Hochul on Wednesday, it was announced that Samaritan Medical Center won’t be receiving the National Guard assistance it requested last week.
However, officials from the Governor’s office say they’re working on a different solution to help the hospital with staffing shortages.
“All available National Guard medics have been deployed across the state, but DOH is actively working with Samaritan Health and is providing information on potential staffing resources,” a spokesperson with Hochul’s office said Wednesday.
Samaritan Medical Center last week requested staffing assistance from the National Guard for Samaritan Keep nursing home through the state, asking for licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants to help care for its residents as they begin to welcome more patients…

There is no excuse for firing those who did not want to take the death shot. I personally know someone who lost their hospital job this way. Any deaths that result are the unelected governor’s doing. May she and Cuomo both sit in Gitmo.

If any patients at Samaritan Medical Center were to die from inadequate care due to staffing shortages, let them be those who voted for Kathleen C. Hochul to be the head of the NY state kakistocracy.
The fire department that I retired from currently has over 25% of the uniformed personnel out on sick leave; the vast majority are vaxxed people who have tested positive for Covid. Currently there is mandatory overtime. They were planning on firing all the unvaxxed firefighters and officers including chiefs before the first of the year. But there are few if any unvaxxed firefighters off sick and they cannot spare any until after Omicron settles down. They have a temporary reprieve.
But they are still planning on firing them all... because they can’t be allowed not to follow orders from our all-knowing Governor Dimsley.
