If you need more than five of six rounds in an unplanned firefight you’ve probably already lost. One or two rounds against a violent perp will kill him or send him fleeing.

For a practiced shooter, a revolver can be reloaded as quickly as a magazine-fed semi-auto, IMO. Watch Jerry Miculek and his SW 625..

True, with a 5 rnd revolver one would be at a disadvantage against another with hi-cap mag.
Most incidents probably wouldn’t require more than 5 rounds. Who knows. Every situation is different.
