Sen. Rand Paul blamed Dr. Anthony Fauci for thousands of Covid deaths because he said the White House chief medical advisor pushed vaccines while ignoring therapeutics.
The Kentucky Republican accused Fauci of having a 'bias' toward vaccines that dates back to the AIDS crisis.
'I would venture to say that thousands of people die in our country every month now because [Fauci's] deemphasized the idea that there are therapeutics,' Paul told his father, three-time presidential candidate and former Texas Rep. Ron Paul, on 'Liberty Report' Monday.
The senator also claimed that thousands had died because Fauci did not take into account natural immunity in prioritizing vaccinations.
'Because he's made this mistake of deemphasizing natural immunity, I think thousands of people have lost their lives,' Fauci said. 'For instance, I've already had it [Covid-19] I should be at the end of the line.'
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that all people be fully vaccinated regardless of previous infection, as reinfections have been reported. According to a CDC study of residents in Kentucky, those who had Covid-19 and were not vaccinated were 2.34 times more likely to become reinfected in May-June 2021, before the emergence of the Omicron variant, than those who had a previous infection and were vaccinated.

In India they gave their citizens a package of pills-one was ivermectin. biden went over there and made them promise not to tell what was in the packages of pill because India had relatively few cases and biden did not want it known as to what they were given.
We need more than 1 choice-unless the vax REALLY IS the bioweapon.

Rand Paul is not breaking any news here. Other medical experts have been saying the same thing for some time. Even Donald Trump has mentioned it.

Well maybe I should be careful and say I saw something very similar being treated with quinine. It obviously was not the Spanish flu. I can’t remember exactly what it was. But it was a major contagious sickness that was killing many back in the Ingall’s days.
Rand Paul is right. And it isn’t changing.
We’ve run out monoclonal antibody treatments in my community because Joe Biden shut it down. Many were being helped. The CDC Guidelines for inpatient Covid treatment is still a death sentence.
Have seen many cowboy shows dealing with smallpox.
Found a local article...maybe circa 1880. Family was confined to their home. Neighbors left groceries on the porch. I believe all survived...large family....maybe 12 folks.
My point....you quarantine SICK people....not well people.
More monoclonal antibodies and less scolding would have gone a long way...
DeSantis had it right - - protect the vulnerable, set up free monoclonal antibodies sites around the state, keep kids in school and free all other citizens.
And you don't quarantine people solely on the basis of a phoney baloney easily false-positive "test".
Rand’s strong point is that he’s apparently a research specialist...his aids aren’t putting this together...he’s not reading off a monitor like our “science major” President and his wife...Dr. Jill. She’s an English Teacher...nothing more.

That is a misrepresentation of this study study on the 2002-2004 SARS in a lab using Chloroquine. It is a long way from a lab study to a treatment to getting results of that treatment. That was never done because by the time of that study, SARS had passed. There is no way to do a treatment study on a disease when so few get the disease.
There is a problem conservatives have with the news and finding information. Much of what the MSM writes is couched in half truths to defend a lie, so much so that any truth they tell is used to back up a greater lie. The reaction on the right is to distrust the MSM and trust any alternative news. Except many in alternative media just lie for their own benefit. In order to make up the claim about the NIH knowing HCQ stopped Covid in 2005, someone had to read and understand the study well enough to misrepresent it.
What I have learned over the years, which has been particularly reinforced over the last year, is there are a lot of online con-artists who take advantage of people's fears and lack of knowledge on a issue. Filtering out good from bad information is harder than ever.
Yeah, I agree with Rand. Dr. Fauci should have done both.
He could have easily gotten an Emergency Use Authorization exception passed through Congress, so there was no reason to ignore therapeutics.
