Having less accurate knowledge about COVID-19 is associated with a greater likelihood of contracting the virus, according to new research published in Scientific Reports. The findings indicate that people who believe misinformation about COVID-19 are at greater risk of getting sick compared to their more knowledgeable counterparts.
“When the pandemic first broke out in the spring of 2020, my lab group was struck by the fact that the entire nation was being asked to change their behavior, i.e., to comply with the social distancing recommendations,” said study author Russell H. Fazio, the Harold E. Burtt Chair in Psychology at The Ohio State University.
“Hence, we came to regard the directive as a call for action on the part of behavioral scientists. By May, we had initiated what became a series of studies examining the beliefs and individual difference variables that related to social distancing behavior. Eventually, we re-contacted the initial participants to ask whether they had contracted COVID-19, including whether they had tested positively for the virus, during the intervening four months.”

There is reasonably solid evidence that ivermectin docks to the spike protein itself to prevent binding to the ACE2 receptor which is the primary pathology causing the tissue damage and clots related to SARS-CoV-2. Background/Aim: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). One drug that has attracted interest is the antiparasitic compound ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone derived from the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis. We carried out a docking study to determine if ivermectin might be able to attach to the SARS-CoV-2 spike receptor-binding domain bound with ACE2. Materials and Methods: We used the program AutoDock Vina Extended to perform the docking study. Results: Ivermectin docked in the region of leucine 91 of the spike and histidine 378 of the ACE2 receptor. The binding energy of ivermectin to the spike-ACE2 complex was -18 kcal/mol and binding constant was 5.8 e-08.
Conclusion: The ivermectin docking we identified may interfere with the attachment of the spike to the human cell membrane. Clinical trials now underway should determine whether ivermectin is an effective treatment for SARS-Cov2 infection.

Interesting. And yet the average age of one who falls from covid is higher than the national average age of death. Risk - benefit analysis. We will learn, as with every new drug, what the 1 to 10 year side effects are. ‘May the odds be ever in your favor.’
If we thought Covid was a “joke” as you falsely claim, we wouldn’t be following our own protocols to prevent or mitigate the disease.
Had covid twice.
Much easier than when I survived cancer. A eight months ordeal in which they gave me a 50% chance of survival.

True items included statements such as “Some individuals who have COVID-19/the coronavirus do not show any symptoms,” while false items included statements such as “Spraying chlorine on my body will protect me even if COVID-19/the coronavirus has already entered my system.”
Much of the 'study' was completed under President Trump's tenure it seems. Statements like this intended to invoke images of the President telling people to inject bleach are evident in just the short report of this 'study.' Frankly, it reads like a hit piece on deplorables.
I will tell that to my 59 year old classmate who died of covid a week before Christmas and his 30 something son who died of covid 2 days later- Sunday morning.
I will tell that to my banker whose 29 year old son died of covid who was an athlete in perfect health.

Why ask for proof? Almost all the data is lies so anybody can produce anything to “prove” that vaxxes work. But it is all lies. I know the vaccines, masks and lockdowns are all lies because I use my own judgement.

It appears you are a fearful person. I would encourage you not to focus on the number of kids who drown - or you won’t swim. Not to focus on the number of young people you drive and are killed in accidents - or you won’t drive. Not to focus on the number of people who are walking in the woods, get stung by a bee and die - or you won’t take walks.
Fear is very contagious and ruins lives. Covid is real and a true danger to the elderly and infirmed. Fear of c19 is killing the young and healthy more than the virus itself.
Only person I know who has “Covid Lung” (Long Hauler) had a bad reaction almost immediately after the 2nd Vax and ended up in the hospital; months later still has breathing & autoimmune problems, is on experimental injections ($$$$), plus steroids and uses a nebulizer daily.
