"Spoken like a democrat."

I'd hardly call Tom Emmer a democrat. He represents perhaps the most conservative district in MN, including my old home town. The prior rep was Michele Bachmann, the most intelligent and Freedom-loving person in Congress at the time.

"Looks like the FR doom-and-gloomers..."

Call us what you will, we choose not to live in a fantasy world anymore. It's called reality, based on many years of getting kicked in the teeth by the Republican Party. After a while, optimism wanes that Republicans will be different the next time they gain power. Any optimism I may have still had, ended on January 6th, when the majority of Republicans put a potato in The White House, and accepted unlimited voter fraud. The GOP died for me on that day. No longer my party, no longer my problem.

Personally, the Democrats need to be painted as the Communists that they are. No more sugar coating or calling them progressives or liberals. Anyone associating themselves with the Democrat party needs to be called out as such. Vote Democrat, you’re voting for gun control. Vote Democrat, you’re voting for slave labor and a growth in the welfare state by allowing illegal aliens in. Vote Democrat, you’re allowing illegal aliens to come in unchecked with more rights than you including not being tested for COVID.

Time to take the gloves off and play for keeps. This applies to some RINOs as well.

Unlimited voter fraud is the new History.

The ‘Blue Wall’ is House Bill HR1 and, if it gets passed, it Federalizes most of the Nation’s election processes. A true nightmare and one that the ‘D’ party wants with all of its corrupt heart!

first, consider the source. This steaming pile of donkey crap comes from the Surrender Monkey best friend - Faux News. Now Surrender Monkeys take a deep breath and ask yourself if stealing elections became a permanent fixture in the rodents’ bag of tricks what happened in Virginia, New Jersey and so many places in New York State. Now Surrender Monkeys explain how Virginia was NOT stolen. I’ll help you out here - the Republicans flooded polling places with poll watchers.
How will the Democrat/communists overcome a 33 point drop in Hispanic support, a Black support level in the mid-seventies and Bradon Ice Cream?

I know you are still hoping that Chuckie’s dirt diggers will find something to blackmail Manchin into supporting Joey’s destructive agenda but that ain’t happening.

Yes the GOP will retake Congress, but will the milquetoast leadership and RINOs squander that victory? I see 2022 as the last change to at least slow the march to socialism.

Nor did I call him one. When he uses the word “diversity”. he’s speaking like one.

“If the Pubbies don’t get to 60% they got nothing in terms of rolling back Biden’s tyrannical edicts.”

Please explain what the Republican party stands for and what its priorities will be if it captures the House and the Senate. Congress has the power of the purse. Will Republican slash social justice spending, wasteful programs, and agencies who are not performing? Will Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and PBS be defunded?

Why won’t Republican leaders lay out a platform with specific promises like Newt Gingrich did in 1994 with the Contract for America? Why are they instead back to business as usual — vote for us because we aren’t as bad as the Democrats? The truth is the party has no core philosophical principles. Republicans in Congress are administrators and servants of the donor class. They call themselves “conservatives” but don’t want to commit to taking any action to promote conservative values and principles.

If voter are stupid enough to vote for a blank canvas, they shouldn’t be surprised when nothing happens.

So.

Have Republicans won anywhere where there is universal mail in voting?

Or is it unsurmountable?

“That sounds great, but Freepers are only a tiny fraction of the people who actually vote. “

And I’m currently arguing with a FReeper who is advocating that we all stop voting. A lot of negative crap being promulgated lately. I am calling it out. It should go without saying we should all be voting and taking hundreds if possible with us. Being committemen, running for office, donating, praying, etc.

Since I joined FR it seems that the voices of misfits and losers have gotten much louder here.

I'm fine with anyone who thinks we should all stop voting. But I'd also insist that these people should just disappear ... because someone like that has no business posting on a POLITICAL website if they really feel that way.

I thought Governor Youngkin's campaign strategy and tactics in Virginia would encourage people here...

You must be young. I was living in Chicago in early 1960’s, and the democrat machine in Chicago stole enough votes for JFK to win Illinois which gave him electoral win. Without that steal, Nixon would be the president in 1960.

Stealing votes is at least 60+ years old, if not more.

"You must be young."

LOL....I'm 74 and from Louisiana...the state that produced Huey Long and the Long machine. Chicago was as pure as the driven snow by comparison. Fortunately, with the institution of the "jungle" (i.e. open) primary system, the Republicans gained the ascendancy and cleaned up the state a LOT. There are still pockets of serious corruption, but the state is no longer totally corrupt. Illinois, OTOH, has gotten worse.
