A Cleveland police officer was shot dead early Friday evening in a carjacking incident while he was off duty, according to reports.
Responding officers soon located the stolen vehicle and took a suspect into custody, FOX 8 of Cleveland reported.
Neither the slain officer – who was shot twice -- nor the suspect were immediately identified....

Hope this isn’t the beginning of a trend. Compared to other big cities, Cleveland has fewer carjackings because more of our citizens carry.
Beginning in Portland, Democrats in power have approved the denigration of police, and now we have the reports of their deaths to prove how successful they have been.
I’m not a kid anymore.I have white hair and walk with a limp (thanks to two metal hips). I drive a reasonably nice,late model,car...not a Ferrari but not a Fiat either. I very seldom drive in bad parts of town but the thought of car jacking still crosses my mind once in a while.
....apparently two suspects....howcum no word on these two scumbags....could it be that they are of the, well, ummm, Irish persuasion....? or maybe Amish.....??
It’s time to start holding the black community responsible for the rise in crime by glorifying their criminals. And yeah, I know democrats encourage this as a way to keep blacks on their plantation but it’s time... past time.

IOW...the politicians,and judges,of this state have open contempt for the 2nd Amendment. Knowing this I consulted my lawyer about state laws regarding firearms in this state asking for advice/input. He basically said that there are so many things they can get you on that he advised me to not even bother carrying. He said that in his opinion the state's laws...the state's attitude...is/are blatantly illegal and unconstitutional but unless you're prepared to spend big $$$ defending yourself in Federal court I shouldn't bother.
Not so! according to the article, “As of November 30, 2021, 314 officers were shot in the line of duty, of which 58 were killed”
58 KILLED!

210 were shot to death, 4 stabbed to death, 10 by vehicle assault, and 7 by assault.
That is 231 cops murdered on the job in 1930.

I was in a semi-urban area a few weeks ago and stopped at a traffic light when I noticed a car with very dark tinted windows approaching behind me. There was a lane open to my left and no one around, traffic or pedestrian, so I started preparing to jump through the red light if he pulled up beside me. Instead he stayed behind me, so I watched closely to be sure I saw the first instant a car door opened, and I scanned around to make sure no one was on foot outside the car.
Nothing happened, obviously.

If true - he was the romantic exception -- probably more likely he was a sociopath but that's for another day.
It also has little to do with a whole community glorifying car jackers, child killers, and common thieves. History and cultures can do that to exceptional and flamboyant criminals but NO CULTURES glorify common everyday thugs. You know that - not in the old west, not in the old world and not in today's world.
The black community in unique in this regard. And that pathology's reinforced by white liberal elites and their butt boys in the press. Did you notice today's black overseers (poverty pimps on MSNBC, CNN, New York Times and Washington Post) actually went along with the 'de-fund' the police crap UNTIL THE REAL BLACK COMMUNITY - IN TOTAL DESPERATION - MADE THEIR VOICE HEARD. They needed cops in their communities. They started voting with their feet and switching parties... and speaking out ... and finally the pets of white liberal elites (who haven't lived in black communities for decades) - heard them. And stated changing their tunes.
The black community did NOT glorify criminals until late 1963 ...
The whites, who control the mindset in the black community like having them to hate or dislike others and to be lawless. They are easily controlled and manipulated. Throw up a real or fake, staged scenario on TV and watch them do the elites dirty work for them.
