The US, the UK and other major economies could be on the brink of over-vaccinating people in the fight against Covid, experts say.
Israeli officials have already announced their intentions to embark on dishing out another round of booster jabs, meaning both the US and UK will eventually face pressure to follow suit even though both nations have insisted there are no plans to administer fourth doses yet.
But scientists argue that rolling out vaccines every three-to-four months simply isn't 'doable' and may not even be necessary because of Omicron, which some believe will speed up the process of endemicity and consign days of sky-high hospitalization and death figures to history.
And they called for more data on dosing gaps between boosters before pressing ahead with plans to administer fourth jabs. Some experts claim the benefits of extra jabs are minimal because their primary purpose - preventing deaths and hospitalizations - has barely waned after a year and several Covid variants, effectively meaning boosters are adding to an already high base level immunity.
Professor Ian Jones, a virologist at the University of Reading, said descriptions of Omicron being a 'natural vaccine' were right.
The logic behind the argument is that as Omicron is highly transmissible but milder than other variants, it can give an immunity boost without causing as much serious illness, with some data suggesting a combination of infection than vaccination providing the best type of immunity in the long-run.

I believe it is. In the past few days, my GF and nine other people I know have come down with it.
They're all reporting it feeling like a moderate head cold. Each has tested positive for Omicron.
I'm no virus expert, I only know what I was taught about them in high school and what I read online from trusted resources. Bottom line: we may very well be at the end of the pandemic. The Omicron variant is doing what all viruses ultimately do: mutate, become as contagious as possible, lose their ability to cause death / long term harm and burn themselves out.
Herd immunity, here we come.

We’re WAY over the brink already. Elderly, high risk should have been vaccinated if risk analysis showed that was favorable in their individual circumstances. COVID is VERY age stratified .... those not at high risk should have been left unvaxed .... we would have been ‘done’ with COVID almost a year ago.

TPTB are winding down on Covid.
No doubt they have something else up their sleeve, but I suspect that this is tied to midterm elections.
I see Covid being over in the next couple months with all the backpedaling that’s been going on.
They are slowly and surely changing the narrative, pretending this is “new” discoveries about it, but anyone could have seen it coming.
The first clue was months ago when they set the date to phase out the PCR test. Then a month before today, they started with small, incremental steps back, all timed just right to give the appearance of Covid fading away.
Mind you I will be happy to be done with this, but all it’s doing is giving us a breather before the start with the next thing planned. It does, however, give us the opportunity to continue to prep for it.

It is anti-Science to ask questions. True Science demands you show stronger faith.
The terminator “vaccines” aren’t about combatting the Fauci/China biological warfare virus.
If it were, the terminator “vaccines” would prevent the illness they are allegedly supposed to prevent.
The fact that people with naturally acquired immunity are required to submit to it tells you that there is no science involved.
There is something else going on, and anybody who isn’t curious about what that could be deserves to have a sudden heart attack and die.
If you haven’t died after 3 jabs, the 4th should do the trick.

there is some middle ground of mostly vaccinated people who did so unhappily (work-related, or country-mandated) and are open to negative information though probably not happy about reading it since it applies to them. also some unvaccinated who would like to do so but have specific medical issues precluding them (even though the CDC seems to have included pretty much every condition in the ‘ok to vax’ category)
the rest are committed to their decision, vaxed or not. often these two groups cannot even agree on very basic facts or data points.
