Trudeau was apparently in Quebec when he said this but Ontario next door is proving to be a very interesting case study and I’m going to bet that Quebec’ stats are almost the same…..just as are plenty of States. Check out the data at the above link… this is a summary of the ‘official numbers’ for Ontario. Scroll about ¼ of the way down the page to a graph called ‘Covid-19 cases by vaccination status’….
At this graph, you can click on either ‘Rate per 100,000’ or ‘Number of cases’. If you click on the Rate per 100,000, this is the rate by vaccination status so it is an apples-to-apples comparison between the vaxxed and the unvaxxed….. the green line is for the ‘Fully Vaxxed’, the purple line is the ‘Unvaxxed’, and the pink line is ‘Partially vaxxed’. Here is the benefit of my math on these lines with the emphasis on the last two weeks…….
So let’s just examine what has happened since Dec. 1, shall we?
o On December 1, the rate of non-EGT’d people ‘who became a case’ was approximately 4.2 times the rate of the fully-EGT’d. So the ratio is 4.2.....
o December 18, the ratio was 1.8 x.
o December 22, the ratio was 1.18 x.
o December 24, the ratio was 0.99 x.
o December 25, the ratio was 0.915 x.
o December 26, the ratio was 0.86 x.
o December 27, the ratio was 0.82 x.
o December 28, the ratio was 0.79 x.
o December 29, the ratio was 0.78 x.
o December 30, the ratio was 0.77 x.
o December 31, the ratio was 0.75 x.
