About 25 years ago I worked for a company HQ’d in England during the first internet bubble (and is no longer in business) and was my first exposure to a British owned, international company. It was company policy to provide company cars to middle management and above there in lieu of a decent salary that helped to offset the cost of petrol and insurance there which I thought was a decent trade off - my how they have fallen since then.......

I’m probably going to get skewered for this, but I do think that private car ownership will be eventually fade away. Not the same way it’s implied here but by social and economic realities of the future. Think about the cost of owning a car today. The purchase price, finance interest, service, etc. Add in the coming reality of self driving cars and I see a future of on autos on demand. Fire up the app and wait for your ride.

The worldwide Left is out of control. Like the spoiled child they all are inside, they want everything they’ve ever wanted. And they want it NOW.

I am a bicyclist, and I hate those bike-share bikes. I’d rather walk.

Some have asked if they should start riding their horse instead,

The scum bags in government, will say that horses drink too much water, eat too much food, and pass too much methane. 😀

That may work in England where you might be able to go coast to coast in one day on a bike.
They’d have to get rid of the second amendment first for that to be implemented here.

Harrison went on to praise not only public transportation but also bike share services, e-scooters, and ride sharing platforms.

"Sorry, but you have refused to submit to your sixteenth booster shot and are therefore denied the privilege of accessing our public transportation, bike share services, e-scooters, and ride-sharing platforms..."

Coming soon!

Regards,

Greater flexibility????
Longer lines for the trains? Buses? Light rail?
No more personal privacy?
More endangerment from the crazies, as has been witnessed?
Moer “exposure to the infected” as possibly planned?

I watch a show from UK called “Escape To The Country”.

Realtors are showing 3 homes per episode to prospective buyers.

CARS are essential to making these trips.

MUCH of the UK is VERY RURAL.

Brits should act in an historically accurate way.

Execute her, bury her, wait a couple ofyears then dig her up, try her and execute her again.
