New Jersey Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy has been slammed for going to Costa Rica on an eight-day Christmas vacation while the state experiences a surge in COVID-19 cases.
Murphy and his wife, Tammy Snyder Murphy, left for the Central American country on Dec. 22. That day, New Jersey recorded 9,711 cases, a single-day record since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020.

Covidictators can issue draconian decrees from anywhere in the world. No need to be in arm’s length of the subjects.
More problematic is that he is coming back.
To be fair, what do we expect politicians to do in a health crisis? Wring their hands? Look concerned? The best they can do is leave us alone. Gov. Murphy being in Costa Rica means he’s leaving the citizens of N.J. alone. They should pray he doesn’t come back.
I think most folks would agree that NJ is a better place when he’s not around.
Costa Rica is a great place for an accident.
When Murphy left we had over 9000 cases that day.... today we had over 20,000 new cases and over 50 deaths.
I agree as long as he doesn’t come back.
Silly people, cowering during Covid is only for mere citizens, not special people like politicians.
