An Oregon hospital is reporting an outbreak of a superbug fungus that has hospitalized three people in the state, health officials said.
Oregon on Tuesday confirmed three cases of Candida auris at a hospital in Salem, the state capital. The first case was detected on Dec. 11, according to the Oregon Health Authority. The second case was confirmed on Dec. 23 and the third Dec. 27.
Federal, state and local health officials are investigating the outbreak.
C. auris is a type of yeast fungus that is difficult to detect and is heavily resistant to drugs, making treatment of infected patients difficult. The pathogen was first detected in 2009 at a hospital in Japan and inside the U.S. in 2013.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention called C. auris a "serious global health threat" and has reported 1,156 clinical cases of the yeast fungus in states stretching from New York to California.

You don’t know how much fungus I’ve had. I highly suspect it more systemically the last few years.
But yes, DEFINITELY get athlete’s foot alot - thanks to HAVING to wear shoes all the time which means HAVING to wear socks to keep the annoying slippery sweat to a minimum, which leads to great environment for fungus.
And some years ago, kept having problems with ringworm - it’s all the same fungus, really.
As for “solving” these fungi - taking 4 weeks to control it and eradicate indicates how tough it is. That’s Lotrimin/miconazole/etc for you.
These are probably from wearing these idiotic masks 12 hours a day! My wife is a medical laboratory scientist at a large reference lab, and says they’ve seen a large increase in persons developing bacterial pneumonia since 2020. The media and these left leaning “fact checkers” say that masks are not causing a steep increase in bacterial pneumonia infections, but my wife and others in her field understand that this large increase in BP infections and other respiratory infections since 2020 is not just a coincidence.
Antibiotics has nothing to do with fungus.
:)
If you would like more information about what’s happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me. Please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.
The three are probably vaxxed homosexuals.
It is that and i would add all the ventilators, ecmos, even hi flo o2 treatment. I hate this because a fungus is hard to kill on a good day.
Don’t go to the hospital unless death is imminent and you have exhausted all means of treatment.
I have suspected from about 6 months in that our treatment is killing people too.
No worries! Dr. FRAUD-chi says since I’ve had my 67th shot, I’m good to go against anything out there!
