Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers discussed his views on the science of Covid-19 treatments and vaccines at length Tuesday with tank top-wearing former NFL player Pat McAfee.
Rodgers joined Sirius XM’s The Pat McAfee Show as he continues to navigate the fallout from what has been a grueling six weeks, at least off the field. Rodgers indicated he had been “immunized” against the virus in the preseason, and he has been facing nothing but heat since he tested positive for the virus last month.
“I’ve gotten accused of spreading misinformation when I talk about the treatment plan I used to get better, that’s been used by a number of people and doctors,” Rodgers told McAfee, before he cited podcaster Joe Rogan, who he consulted with before taking the drug ivermectin to treat himself.
The NFL star, who is currently in the MVP conversation, then complained that too few people are taking such alternative treatment methods seriously.
“One of my issues, and I’ve brought this up many times, is one: they don’t talk about the fact that you know guys are getting better, people are getting better using these things. That’s fine, you don’t want to talk about that,” the quarterback said. “There’s still zero conversation, at least publicly, around treatment options for people that test positive.”
He comes across as a bit unpleasant sometimes, but he is no dummy, and he gets this.
If you can’t question, it’s called religion.
Remember the President’s Council on Physical Fitness? You should be required to pass a physical fitness exam before you’re granted permission to graduate High School. 6 pull ups. 30 push-ups, run a mile in under 10 minutes. Etc etc - Anyone can do that, seems like. Ban fast food commercials on TV like they did tobacco products
Fitness and diet don’t put money in the checking accounts of Big Pharma shareholders like Fauci, Biden and congress, though
Follow the money
What part of him is unpleasant?
I guarantee you that 80% of the NFL is following the same protocol or getting saline shots in lieu of the actual jab.
You think someone like Tom Brady is going to get jabbed multiple times and then get so-called boosters?
Hell no. I guarantee you he was granted an exemption of some sorts.
This entire pandemic is a SCAM.
Well, ok. They did use a bioweapon on our own people, But that's just transitional.
NICE rant

I went through 4 years of H.S. where P.E. was required every year. A female class mate was exempt all 4 years but graduated with the rest of us. No one but her knew why. I always assumed it had something to do with her female plumbing.
OK, for this statement alone, I wanna see him get another SB ring.
Amen.
I was speaking about him personality-wise, not with respect to his attitudes about science.
I am in agreement with him on that.
One of the things some people don’t like about Aaron Rogers is that he doesn’t give a shit about what others think.
One of the things I love about him is that he doesn’t give a shit about what others think.
Rogers is bringing up REAL science. Good for him.
....
I’ve given you the facts...scientific truth is scientific truth!
Unchangeable and eternal! It cannot be altered to suit the policies of the hour, or the clamor of immature hoodlums!

I was exempt from P.E. for all of my high school years and had early dismissal as well. I was a nationally ranked athlete and ran 3 miles to school in the morning and ran 3 miles home one hour after lunch rain or shine and sometimes in the snow. When I got home, I rode my bicycle 20 to 40 miles and much further on weekend days. I used the gym and pool for training, but I was basically on my own. I did work with teachers and was given credit for taking P.E. classes. Some of the other kids were jealous but most knew that I was extremely dedicated... it was not a mystery.
“If science can’t be questioned, it’s not science anymore, it’s propaganda.”
That would make a great bumper sticker!
“If science can’t be questioned, it’s not science anymore, it’s propaganda.”
Aaron Rodgers is channeling Richard Feynman? I thought the only intellectual quarterback was Frank Ryan PhD of the Cleveland Browns.
Kudos to you. Your dedication is an inspiration for me.
