Facts are not important when rewriting history. ๐
I wish all these people would just.... I guess I can’t say. I just don’t ever want to hear from or see any of them again.
Understood, but someone MIGHT realize there weren’t any Republicans yet in 1779...
Here’s an example of facts being irrelevant:
“Augusta Furnace (NY)
Historical Marker
Built about 1783 by Peter Townsend, Formerly stood at the Foot of the Falls on the Rampo River, to the East”
It might seem nitpicking, but in fact this was a FORGE - very different in form and function from a FURNACE (which provides the iron to a forge to be made into things). As this is in the “Iron Belt” along the NY/NJ border, it seems a strange oversight. There are nearby furnaces where the difference would be very obvious.
Or this one:
Garard’s Fort
Site of frontier refuge in Revolutionary War. Station of a small detachment of Virginia militia in 1777, when this area was claimed as part of Monongalia County, VA. Near here, on May 12, 1782, the wife and three children of the noted Baptist minister, Rev. John Corbly, were killed while on their way to church; two of Corbly’s other children were wounded in the same Indian attack but survived.
maybe they should put up markers like this:
On this spot, Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were carjacked, kidnapped, raped, tortured, and murdered on 6 January 2007, by Letalvis Darnell Cobbins, Lemaricus Devall Davidson, George Geovonni Thomas, Eric DeWayne Boyd, and Vanessa Lynn Coleman.

How about a historic marker for the Zebra Murders
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zebra_murders
Or, The Wichita Massacre
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wichita_Massacre
Hundreds of thousands of similar markers could go up all over the country comemorating the victims of black on white crime. The making of such markers could employ millions of people, and tell the hidden history of Blacks In America.
Could you imagine that? That should be publicized everywhere until they fix it. I’ve seen that before; I guess they’re in no rush.
I’d find a way to “edit” that myself if I could...
Yes, we must remove this blemish on the history of the Indians’ resistance against the white devils - even the children /s
Ther are always going to be those who recognize the errors, even when they are trying to stifle the truth. ๐
